Air Bag Light On Problems of Dodge Dart

Had this 2015 Dodge Dart for 1 week. The airbag light came on and would not go off. I took it to a Dodge dealership and they quoted me 546. 74 for a car that I bought a week ago, for a manufacturing issue that was obviously not caused by me. The light came on when the car was stationary after sitting for a day. This is clearly a safety risk for myself and the car.

The airbag light started coming on when a passenger sat in the passenger seat. The light would go off. When driving, the airbag light began coming on when driving with no passenger and then stayed on. In addition, the seatbelt light would beep even when the passenger belt was plugged in. I took the vehicle into Dodge for service and was informed the seatbelt could not be fixed because the part needed was discontinued. The airbag light was diagnosed as a problem with the wire harnesses. The day after getting my car back from being repaired, the airbag light is back on. It came on once I started the car. It now comes on intermittently while driving, sometimes does not go off until the car is off.

Fasten seat belts light appears on dash and dings. Air bag light continues to be lit. Battery replaced and tested good. . . Car doesn't start. Radio loses reception. Key fobik doesn't lock, unlock, remote start or panic button doesn't work to car (always did before) check engine light has come on and went off several times.

Takata recall - my airbag light has come on and will not go off. Along with the swiggly road light. No one understands why they are on. The other issue being the shifter cable of the car, I have used my shifter and the car does not actually shift in motion on the highway. My breaks, however, did work so I used them. I believe this was unsafe because on the highway people drive very fast. If I was trying a manual Dodge Dart I would not have been able to stop. After this happened I stopped using the manual shifter while driving. When I put my car in park or reverse however it shifts very abruptly. This has happened for a while now but I thought it was because my foot wasn't on the brake hard enough but it continued to happen.

I put in a complaint back in 2019 about using to much oil and my car acting funny. Now the car will jump/jerk when you put on the gas and the air bag light comes on and the engine light. I took it to have it fixed last year at a sullivan's garage and he can not find anything wrong. He went a head and changed the oil. And mind you I just had it changed aweek before. And he said I was already half a quart low. My car still will start jerking/jumping and stop. Ill have to turn the key off and take out and put the key back in and start the car. And the engine and airbag lights will go off. And I just had a oil change. It happens when I'm getting on the freeway to go home from work and ill have to pull to the side of highway!!! driving to the store. This only happens when car engine is running lights come on and car is moving starts doing the jerks. Please do a recall on the engine!!! Seat belt dings as if your belt is not latched and airbag light stays on.

Hi my Dodge Dart has the airbag light on I haven't ben in an accident or any thing it's a safety matter if I was to get in an accident and the airbag does not go off me and all my passengers could be severely ingered or dead witch would lead to a pritty penny lawsuit the airbag light just came on it was just sitting in the yard and then I went to start it and when it started the airbag light came on so I did a little research to finds out what it meant and found out that the air bag light ment that the airbag may not come out at impact and it's a pritty pricy fix so hopefully y�all can do something about that so it doesn't end up a tragity.

Air bag lights is on check engine lights car running hot fam turning in wrong directions I keep putting brake fluid in once a week heat come on m off when it feel like it tire lite I keep spending money for tires head rest is not normal it pushes my neck out when I'm driving now my neck n back hurts.

Driving car normally. I parked in a parking lot and went into a store. When I came out to start the car it would not start. Charging indicator light and check engine light came on. Auto zone was in the plaza so I had the guy come out and do a diagnostic. Codes were p0123, p2122, p2127, p0222, u0401. When the guy went back into the store the car started. When I parked again 10 minutes later the check engine and charge light disappeared. Car ran fine for one day. About 33 hours after that incident I parked the car at a park for lunch from work. Took a walk and when I returned car never came on. Dash was flickering, all lights illuminated, mileage was flashing, gauges were flickering, car would not turn over. Acted as if battery was dead. Had to walk back to work and have car towed by aaa after work. Car has been sitting for 4 days and will not turn on. New messages came check electric braking system, check air bags, service tire pressure system and check anti lock brakes system. The tire light is on me because a sensor in the passenger tire broke when I got a flat hitting a curb while parking. I replaced the tire but not the sensor. Also now the uconnect and radio not coming on and battery light comes on, and when I made attempt to start a message came up stating engine warming up??? that was weird. This all happened all of a sudden within a two day span. Now I am stuck paying for a car I cant drive that is going crazy electronically.

Clutch is sticking in the 1. 4l turbo Dart while stationary. Car wouldn't start right away but did eventually. Hard to get into gear while stationary. Emergency brake has failed and is not working. Airbag light is on, on the dash.

I bought this car from the dealer in 2013 and every so often the air bag light goes off. When it was under warrantee the replaced the air bags and it helped but the light goes on all the time. I have looked on line and many other owners have this same problem. Some say its connected to an issue with wires in the a or b pillar. I have talked to the dealership and they do not want to do anything since its not under warrantee.

I also discovered that 421 2013 Dodge Dart mopar 13 special-edition models were recalled due to potential air bag problems, but it was stated only the special edition models were affected. Did these 2013 models really have different air bag systems than the rest of the 2013 Darts?.

Takata recall, this vehicle was taken approximately 5 times back to dealer because airbag light kept coming on 2014 thru 2016. Dealer always said nothing wrong (I have documentation from dealer stating so. My daughter was in an accident November 7, 2017 hit by a tractor trailer air bags never depoloyed. My daughter has a concussion that she is still under care for and vehicle was totalled. My daughter was on a highway that was under constuction only one lane open, tractor trailer did not stop and smashed her into cement barrier.

The service airbag light on the dashboard is continuously on. Has been that way since I purchased the used car in may of 2014. Received a recall notice and took to dealership, fixed and a few months later the light was back on. In may of 2018 took vehicle to another dealership to fix the passenger seat belt sensor that kept stating no passenger seat belt even if the person in the passenger seat had already buckled in, as well as the shift cable bushing because it became detached and could not shift anymore and also let them know about the service airbag light. Dealership fixed all and a few months later the service airbag light came back on and has been that way ever since.

Takata recall the air bag light on my dashboard lights up continuously. I have taken it back to the dealer on 4 separate occasions. On each occasion they tell me its fixed (don't know how) with approximately 1 hr to 1 day the light is back on. I believe the dealer (kelly cars) in moon twp. Pa is not doing a thing.

The service airbag light in my vehicle goes on and off several times throughout each month. I have brought it into the dealer & they tried telling me it was because I probably have my purse on the passenger seat. I do not keep my purse on the passenger seat. Service airbag light comes on no matter if there is a passenger or not. Dealer could not find a fix for problem. Who knows if my airbags will even work if I happen to get into a crash.
