The check air bag light has come on in the dash back in the fall of 2024. I took it to tacoma Dodge in tacoma washington to have it repaired on October 11,2024. It was determined that the orc module was at fault and the part was ordered. I took the vehicle back on October 30, 2024, to have the part installed. I had to bring the vehicle back to tacoma Dodge on November 5, 2025 because the air bag light had come back on. It was determined that the ocm module (seat weight sensor) was bad. I was notified on December 11, 2025, by tacoma Dodge that the part needed was no longer available. I bought the car new in October of 20215, and it currently has 52712 miles on it. How can a manufacturer discontinue a part that is part of the srs?.

The vehicle history does not show any type of accidents. The vehicle history says that the vehicles airbags are in tact. In reviewing my contract from the dealership there is a page that states the vehicle has no airbags. The airbags not being present means the have been deployed due to a collision, right? im concerned that the vehicle is not the vehicle aligned with the VIN. Visually inspecting the physical VIN sticker it has rips and is torn is some places. The odometer is always blinking. I am concerned that it may have been altered. Took it in for a alignment at a shop, but the shop said the could not complete the alignment.

Service airbag system warning light comes on intermittently.

When a passenger is in the car, the air bag light and an audible alert constantly go off while driving. Took it to the dealership and they say this: "it's a seat belt buckle sensor circuit causing orc. Light wires are connected and not damaged" to me, the words "not damaged" indicate that this is not our fault. Of course we're not going to let our daughter continue to drive the car like this, but I feel like $522. 79, which is what they're charging, in addition to a $99 misc. Fee that I don't know what is, is way too much for something that I thought would be considered a safety issue.

Airbags. The light did not come on upon start up of vehicle. Electrical. My radio, display on dashboard and bluetooth would blink off and on. I think that my sons safety and mine were at risk because of the malfunctioning of the airbags if an accident would have occurred they wouldn't deploy. I took it into the dealer, but they didn't seem concerned. They fixed some things and it costs around $3500. The only thing I noticed was the flashing off and on of the dashboard display which shows your speed and mileage on the vehicle and my airbag light did not display at all. My VIN number was covered up with a sticker on the dashboard of my vehicle as well and the one on the drivers door was missing. My car was stolen from ohio and I found it in oregon at capitol Toyota. The contact owned a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated while driving 65 mph another vehicle merged into the lane the contact was traveling in causing the contact to drive off the road. The vehicle airborne and rolling several times. No air bags deploy. The vehicle was several damages and was towed. No other vehicle was involved. The contact had minor cuts and busies, but did not seek medical attention. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 129,000. VIN was not available.

Transmission shifts rough. Dealership replaced transmission but it has been doing the thing since day one when they replaced it. Motor bogs down when turning. Passenger seat belt flashes and dings even though the belt is clicked. Hands free system longer works. Airbags light is always on. Back up camera is flipped upside down and is a backing hazard. Odometer is flashing as well. Tire pressure sensors will show that there is no air in the tires after driving about 45 mins. It asks if there has been and crashes, I have not but it could happen. You never know when the car isn't going to respond.

I just bought this car last month, from my knowledge it has not been repaired, this is my first time buying a car or I would have never purchased it, one month after getting the car I finally receive a history report and I find out I have 6 recalls, have been having so many issue with this car since the week I purchased it, the speedometer does not work in heat and apparently the blower motor to the a/c as well huge inconvenience buying in the summer, the recalls state I have issue to look forward to in the winter as well. My parking brake does not work and I notice that the car rolls slightly in park, I have to press down hard on the gas just to pull out of my parking space in the morning it does not shift into reverse properly and I have been told by many people my brakes are bad despite them being changed recently and another recall says it’s a brake pad issue, I cannot test the other recalls because I am not a mechanic and I have not gotten into an accident but I would like to know if my airbags work and why my engine is having problems despite paying to get it fixed and still having issues.

White smoke emitted from the front driver side airbag upon impact; however, the air bag failed to deploy. The contact, who was 16 weeks pregnant at the time of the accident, was transported to the hospital via an ambulance where she was treated for whiplash and a blackened right eye. She was later sent to a chiropractor for further examination due to ongoing neck and back pain suffered from the accident. The contact stated that all tests related to her pregnancy came back clear. The other driver was drunk at the time of the accident and was arrested, they did not suffer any injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a Ford dealer(dahl Ford davenport inc-1310 e kimberly rd, davenport, IA 52807) where they assessed for damages and deemed the vehicle a total loss. The contact also notified brad deery motors(112 n 2nd st, maquoketa, IA 52060) about the accident but they offered no assistance; she was referred by the dealer to the NHTSA. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Airbags did not deploy during a crash. At fault driver came into my husbands lane and hit him causing severe front end damage. Insurance company has now totaled my vehicle, no warning lights on at all prior to crash. My husband now has whiplash from the accident.

The passenger curtain air bags in the front and back seat exploded with no impact to the vehicle or an other vehicles involved in this incident. There were no issues of weather, street or road way hazard that could have interfered. I was driving normal, going straight and the air bags went off and the grab handle from the front seat hit me in the head when the air bag exploded and I passed out when I hit my head from the impact of the handle hitting me causing me to hit my head on my driver side window. I could have crashed and hurt myself and others from this incident. My windshield also cracked as well with no impact. My vehicle is available for inspection. I currently am having it inspected by my insurance. There were no light indictors or issues to the vehicle prior to this accident. Car wrecked totaling car rollover crash no deployed airbags with wreck.

The seat belt warning light will continue to beep and flash when someone is in the seat and has the seatbelt on, also my car is unable to be parked for more than one day without starting it or it drains the battery and then has to be jump started with another car for it to run again and then the battery has to be replaced this seems like a serious defect the car should be able to sit for at least a couple days and be fine and this is during regular temperature times also so it's very strange it definitely seems like electrical issues.

All internal lights and dashboard lights start flickering the trunk opens up by itself the car starts by itself shuts off when running. After driving for up to 30 to 30 minutes to 1 hour the car start going into this mode where it with the horn would be the doors would just unlock by himself the if I'm parking my car for the night the car I just start up by itself without the key being in the car if I'm driving the car a shut off in mid drive and a parking at the red light these are all the issues that I'm having with this vehicle the horn the alarm comes on without the key in it.

Hi on new years eve my brakes failed and I hit a dog going 45 mph then on Jan 5 a 18 wheeler came over on me and I hit my brakes going 70 mph on interstate but never slowed down it did make a mark in the road but no. Sounds or anything. I got over as much as I could I hit the guardrail then spun in two lanes and hit the other guardrail. Not one airbag came out. A few months before that my brake booster went out. Also I have a recall on my transmission but they don't have the part to fix it so it could be throwed I to neutral without a notice. . I have pictures of the car the accident the brake booster and a police report . The car only has about 80,000 miles on it and the 2013 and 2014 all have brake problems and online alot of people complain about 2015 brakes and airbags. I feel these cars should be pulled off the market I still owe alot of money on this car and. Forking out over another $500 or more to fix it so I can drive it.

At 61000 miles my Dodge Dart sxt has a service airbag system alarm pop up. I contacted two dealerships but they said there was no recall or open warranty for this. As it's airbags, a safety issue I pushed the subject a little harder with Dodge themselves and they said the same thing. Safety in my opinion should be first, and upon further research this has happened quite a bit to other Dodge Dart owners from 2013 to present with little to know knowledge why. Vehicle sits in my bark parked area and is driven very little so shouldn't actively have issues like this occur.

I continue to have a service airbag error on my dashboard. I have reported to it to the Dodge dealership and they are unable to assist unless a fee for diagnostics and a fee to fix the issue when it's clearly a safety matter. Today I had a repair at the dealership due to a recall (v34) transmission shift cable. I am still experiencing issues with the shifting of my gears. Service airbag system message displays when you start the car and drive it it does not go off.

One day I was driving on the highway and I received a notification to �service air bag� and my car shows the passenger seatbelt isn't buckled, even when it is. This causes my car to make noises at me the whole time I'm driving. It has also raised concerned of whether my airbags are functioning, and if I and anyone who rides with me is safe driving/riding in this car. . I just had the bushing for the shifter cable repaired. . Now another dangerous situation with my Dart.

Car is giving code b0052-13 and is turning off air bag and showing srs code with seatbelt off code for passenger air bag. Seatbelt is faulty and not covered under any factory warranty. My concern is if my car is in an accident my passenger will not be protected and could cause bodily injuries.

Upon driving the car on the freeway yesterday, the 2016 Dodge Dart started to shake and the car would not slow down. The passenger front wheel control arm, tire, and cv joint completely feel off the vehicle which caused an accident.

After buying the car my girlfriend sat in passenger seat and seat belt light came on and been on since.

I had took my car to Chrysler in biddeford in may 2017 c/o that my e-brake was not holding my car. Once I got the car back I could hardly lift the brake. I went back in and asked why it was that way, they stated that it would loosen up as I use it. I used the brake a couple of months later and it went up about an inch. The next time I used it was in February and when I pulled up on the brake level it went straight up. I called and left numerous vm. No one called me back. I went back in on a Saturday for my oil change. I talked to a rep there and they stated that they would leave a note for someone to call me back on Monday. I never received a call back. I finally got someone to make an appt for me to bring my car in. Once they found out I no longer had the b to b warranty they stated that I would have to pay almost $500. I called and left a msg for the gm and I got a call back from the sales manager wanting me to traded my car in. I stated to him I thought he was calling about the brake. He stated to bring it in and they will put it on the lift while I talk to sales. The rep came back and stated do you know that your brake does not work. Made an appt for a diagnostic which I had to pay for and they ordered a part for my car. I had to take my car back to be looked at bill Dodge and they stated that my brake was not working and that my calipers where sticking. I brought the car back in and they stated I needed one of my calipers changed. I stated I just changed one this summer make sure you get the right one. I picked up my car and took my car to my friend in nh. His mechanic again stated that my brake was not fixed and that the e-brake is causing the calipers to stick. I got my car back and a week later (03/01/2019) I was in an accident where a car hit my driver's door doing about 35+. My air bags never went off. I have 4 airbags and not one went off. Other cars did.

I was involved in car accident 12/20/2018, my airbag on driver side did not deflate. I received bruise and pain on my left side of the body.

My son was driving high way 280 east bound mp15. 1 when a vehicle it us from behi d then hit us a second time on the passenger side of the car between the passagers front and back door busting the back passenger window out and dented the whole passager side of the vehicle totalling the vehicle out we ended up hitting and damaging the divider wall before coming to a stop along the shoulder of the road facing the opposite direction. . . . It was raining cats and dogs. . . Really hard.

On a daily bases my car will not start. (mornings before work, evenings after work, when ever I stop the car and come back to it. ) I must start the car with a jump machine whenever I turn it off. I got into a car accident in the city of simi valley, CA. Between first st. And arcane st. Going home on Sunday 2/25/2018 and the air bag never came out and I ended it p with a swollen lips and neck/back pain due to the impact received at the time of me hitting the steering wheel as I did not had any protection. At the previously mentioned the stop light was red and there was an SUV in from of me and myself waiting for the stop light to turn green when the only thing I felt was the impact full speed from behind that me been the middle car end it up hitting the car in from of me. I was involved in a 3 car collision on a city highway. My vehicle was impacted pretty badly and sustained substantial damage. The airbags should have deployed but did not! I also had to replace the transmission about a month ago due to a faulty transmission.

When in motion, when someone is sitting in the passenger seat, the seatbelt signal, passenger airbag signal, as well as digital display warning about seatbelt and airbag systems are all on and alerting us. If an accident were to occur, the car would not deploy passenger airbag due to this malfunction.
