I am having problems with body control module and this damaging all my vehicles sensors as the sensors are damaged the actual system which is the engine and the mechanical system is damaged and car won't start it stopped in the middle of the road and then after few trials I some how started it and then it stalls but this stalling is really dangerous because the bcm is sending wrong signals to the accelerator and it accelerates even I have eased the gas so if anything happens later or now I would blame Dodge for making such a worst car and also the NHTSA for giving Dodge the permission.

All internal lights and dashboard lights start flickering the trunk opens up by itself the car starts by itself shuts off when running. After driving for up to 30 to 30 minutes to 1 hour the car start going into this mode where it with the horn would be the doors would just unlock by himself the if I'm parking my car for the night the car I just start up by itself without the key being in the car if I'm driving the car a shut off in mid drive and a parking at the red light these are all the issues that I'm having with this vehicle the horn the alarm comes on without the key in it.
My car is randomly stopping when I press the brakes. My check engine light has come on and had the car looked at by a mechanic and he says it has something to do with the pcm.

While driving my car on a busy road my my car started to loss power, so I turned the car off and it would'nt start back up. This happended in June 2020. I called the tow truck after about a hour in the rain once the tow truck pulls up the car finally starts and I get the car home. It shuts off again assoon as get in my yard. Checked the fuses, battery, alternator, etc. Replaced a 200amp fuse at the battery car worked fine for a few months. Bam the car will not start once again. All light are on, battery is charge fully thedarn carjust wont turn on. This is a harzard computer checks not one recal on this electical unknow issue, now I have a red box in my yard that looks pretty. Many people are having the same electrical issue, but when I called Dodge they said there are no recalls on this vehicle.
6 speed Dodge Dart went into neutral and stopped accelerating while being driven on the freeway, car turns on but won't move forward or backwards when accelerated and in gear. I was able to get it over to the side of the road but then it had to be towed to my residence. I had a mechanic take a look at it and they believe it is a transmission motor control problem that other 2013 Dodge Darts have also encountered.
I have been experiencing pretty much every recall that is on the list number one it started with my car check engine light coming on. And the codes that kept on coming up or for the plugs and coils. I would replace them and they would just go bad again in like a week it is causing my car to do what seems like it's misfiring. My tire light is stuck on when the tires are fine. The speed control stops working on and off. When I steer there's a loud clicking noise. Whenever I try to shift here lately sometimes it won't go into gear. When I turn on the ac it will cause the car to misfire and the only way to make it stop is to turn off the ac and restart the car sometimes three to four times before it stops messing up. Today the scariest thing of all happened I was pulling out of bronze and white smoke billowed out of the car tailpipes I'm not sure why. The car is also sporadically not going in gear when I am on the highway making me worry that me and my five kids are in danger due to someone raikkonen to me because my car will not go up to speed and will not shift into the right gear and misfires and will not go over like 30 miles per hour and putz. I replace parts and it seems to work well for a week or two but my car is not on the recall list they say that every single thing that is on the recall list is happening to my car. I don't know what to do about all of this I honestly you just think that Dart needs to take the car back. . Like recall it completely. This car has been nothing but trouble after the first year of driving it.
The car after the start it smells like some electrical circuit is burning from inside and it comes mostly after 10 or 20 mins drive intensively and at the same time the car starts to jerk when accelerating.
While driving at various speeds, but mainly at lower speeds and while at a stop, the engine will stall and all power is lost to steering and brakes while several warning lights then appear on the dashboard - I have read on chat rooms of hundreds of these occurrences, and most seem to pint to a low oil condition that does not first light the oil light on the dashboard, but some indicate other electrical issues.

Battery light comes on. Recall for shifter was fixed, but the fuse box is now burnt. It's is a special part. I think that there is a correlation between the recall then part is inter the battery and near fuse box,.
While driving with the cruise control on the car will jerk, the cruise control will turn off and the dash will light up saying electric brake service, I have a video of the panel if needed, also the car will not always start when the clutch is depressed, traction control also lights up for no reason, this has been ongoing since oct, 3 2019.
The right window no longer works as well as the driver side window. The trunk is also not wanting to open. Key gets stuck in ignition every time I try and turn the car off. Shift cables also broke, I was just getting home when it happened I heard something snap but didn't think much then I parked and tried to drive off again and the car wouldn't shift to drive I could move the stick. Back and forth still,had it replaced a couple of days later they said the whole rod had come out and shot into something else in the vehicle had shift fixed. Also had motor mouths fixed the mouths became loss within a couple of days now I believe the ac compressor is messing up ac kicks on but no air comes out, but it only happens once in a while car also stays cold for a long while and makes a weird clicking noise when I start it up. Also smells like oil. Passage seat also is stuck. This all happened within 2years ive had the vehicle.
In motion: loss of power - found oil in spark plug wells; dealership replaced well seals, plugs and ignition coil, continued to have problems; compression test was done and found all of my engine o rings were bad which would have happened at time of manufacturing. Had engine replaced at 100,000 miles in motion: brakes - brake pedal will suddenly go all the way to floor and cause difficulty breaking in time. Happens sporadically; no none cause stationary: electrical - car will unlock trunk instead of doors; fan knob will effect radio volume; bluetooth does not connect; happens sporadically; no none cause.
While driving the screen will randomly go completely black and then start flickering white - my dash is now doing the same, simultaneously. However, the screen lights (speed, miles, mpg, etc) stay dim to where I can't even read what is says. My speedometer and gauges will give out and then proceed to quickly flicker up and down. After about 30 seconds of this happening, the whole electronic system resets itself. This has happened 5 times within the last two days, within a maximum of 4 total hours driving time. When starting my car, it hesitates to start - it makes clicking noises prior to actually starting. The battery is fairly new as well. My center console randomly stops working, I have zero control over the radio / climate function. Even after disconnecting the battery, the problem resumes. The uconnect doesn't work - no phone system, or bluetooth music. The back-up camera has completely gone out. There seems to be several issues with the Dodge Dart that go unsolved and are a huge safety risk.
Power train recall. . . . I was backing out of my driveway into the road and the recall item for transmission. The electronic device came off and the transmission would not shift into any gear and I got stuck in the middle of the road I live on while traffic was trying to get through. My car would not go in reverse or drive. I got it pulled back into my driveway and a nice gentlemen that helped looked at my car and realized that the power train was not attached.
This month my check engine light came on, when I went to get it diagnosed/repaired, I was told it was a knock sensor. I got it replaced and less than a day later the check engine light was back on. I went back to the repair shop, they replaced the sensor again, because it was the same code, but this time with an oem part from Dodge. The check engine light came back on again a day later and now I am being told the pcm needs to be replaced. I did some research and the 2013 model of my car had this problem and it was a recall. My vehicle only has 77,000 miles on it, I am still paying for it. These types of major repairs on a car is ridiculous. I used to work in the repair sector, so I know it's not unheard of, but this car should definitely not be needing a new computer already. It doesn't matter what the car is doing. When the light is cleared, it comes back on within a day (I drive about 14 miles a day round trip back and forth to work).

My shift gear is not moving at all and it causes me not to turn my car off or on. My key is stuck in the ignition also.
First of all, when steering to turn there is a cracking noise. It gives the feeling that the steering system is gonna break. Second main problem is that car shuts completely down with no reason when breaking. This just happen to me this morning. I was stoping because of a red light and the car shut down there. I could not turn it on after a few minutes min while I was complete stopped in the middle of the road. This is pretty dangerous if it happens while driving in the freeway. . .
Recall may be the problem. Car ran just fine until we shut it off waited 30 minutes trying to turn it back on and message displayed service transmission no cure found autostick not recognized. Vehicle ran for 400 miles drove perfectly fine we stopped for a bite to eat for about 20 minutes and car would not start again.
The battery light and engine light started flickering on and off, and the vehicle started idling and decreasing in speed for no reason. When trying to accelerate it did not want to do so, and again the lights and power started flickering turning on and off intermittently. Upon pulling to the side of the road I turned the engine off, at which trying to restart, the engine did not turn over only clicking noises. Instead still what seemed like a surging of power with all random lights flickering and stereo turning on and off. This issue had not only happened once but now twice, and I am currently left car less as the issue cannot be fixed or found. A tune up was done on my car, wires replaced, the battery replaced twice, and a module replaced due to the fan for air conditioning intermittently turning off and on on it's own for no rhyme or reason. I have receipts for all stated above replacements. However, I have kept them in my car recently due to have to replace multiple parts within only a couple months of the part being replaced. No one seems to be able to figure out what is taking place, and I am certainly tired of paying for parts to replace the problem when they have not helped in any way shape or form. It seems to me it is more of a manufacturing issue than a maintenance issue. More over the first time this issue occurred I was on the highway and could've been severely injured due to cars driving at high speeds and not paying attention. This issue is really dangerous and could be life threatening if not handled appropriately. I would highly suggest someone looking into these faults before it costs a life.
After vehicle hasn't been drive. For few hours, it will stall while in motion. Vehicle will be in motion the. Shut off after releasing the accelerator, this affects the vehicle steering also. Restarting the vehicle by turning the key while in park and the vehicle begins to cycle the starter and eventually start back up after the starter cranking. While the battery light is on. Battery has been checked and no issues there. After research, this tends to be an ongoing issue with these models.
From 5mph - 70mph the senor for the tpms sensor is banging around in my tire hitting the rim, making a loud noise, I am unable to know if all tires are inflated correctly, because the tpms light is on. I have been to the dealership 5 times to correct the matter and it still continues to happen.
Since March 2019 check engine light has come one 3 times. My car has either stalled in middle of intersection and/or has a bucking sensation and then check engine turns on. This is unacceptable that it keeps occurring. One time they replaced battery, next time recall v34 and again today. There has to be something going on with this model. I do not feel safe. This happens while I am driving.
My etc light will turn on if I take off too quickly to get up to speed with traffic. It has also started to turn off whenever I hit the brakes too abruptly. This is a huge safety issue and Dodge will not even look at it unless I pay them 125 dollars. I shouldn't have to pay for something that is clearly not my fault. It is a manufacturer issue that needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt or sued!.
I took my car in for a recall and as of may 13th I'm still without my vehicle and still having to make the payment plus insurance. I don't know when I will get my car but it has been in the shop enough times I filed for a breech of warranty but Chrysler only offered me 4000 take away the 2000 for attorney fees so 2000 is what I would have walked away with. I did not accept the offer and now I'm trying to figure out what to do. My car doesn't have a remedy for the issue but it's had transmission problems since day 1 had new engine new turbo new starter new gaskets new radiator and much more and nothing has been because of neglect. I truly feel I have a lemon on my hands and need help getting into a safe car. The dealership won't do anything about it told me to get a lawyer so I did but unless we agreed on an amount they wouldn't proceed. My car is unsafe to drive and I'm trying to get a lawyer that can take care of this or help me get a safer car for me and my kids.
Car will idle roughly while in drive and break is applie, if in neutral idle isn't rough. J have changed the spark plugs, gotten a tune up, changed the air filter and nothing has helped. Occasionally back passenger wont go up,radio screen will occasionally turn off while driving and radio often filled with static.
I have a 2013 Dodge Dart aero 6 speed manual, dual dry clutch, multi air turbo. I purchased vehicle in February 2017. 4 months later I had brought my vehicle into carsense for an oil change. Meanwhile I asked them to check the brakes also due to braking issues and my ebrake was not working properly and had a mind of it's own. It worked when it wanted to, but yet everything is in "great condition" says carsence. Mind you that I had just purchased this vehicle in February and it was recently inspected in January 2017. Service dept. Inspected my brakes and gave me the current measurements of existing brake pads left. About June 2018 I was coming up to a stop sign in a 25 mph side street with light traffic. I had trouble slowing down to a complete stop. When I managed to come to a complete stop I heard a loud bang. Here my driver's side rear rotor was severely smoking and I noticed my rotor was redhot. My rotor snapped completely in half. My shifter would randomly pop out of gear or the clutch would lightly stick, smelling exhaust odor I'm now pushing 62, 000 miles and what do you know. I am coming home into my development. I'm in second gear turning onto my lane and doing maybe 10 mph well it decides to pop out of gear and accelerates, redlining second gear(I'm assuming it thinks it's in second) and all dashboard lights are flashing steering wheel it locked. Car is now doing 80 mph in a 15 mph zone. My brakes are not working at all brake pedal is harder than hard. I have no control of this vehicle!! engine finally cuts out after I removed the key from the ignition. Comes to a screeching halt. Thank god. It wont start still to this day. . Oil in turbo and up the hose. Battery plays dead along with my instrument panel and my transmission needs a computer upgrade that's not even available for the 1. 4l turbo engine. . . It needs a tcm, new master cylinder.
I first started experiencing problems with my car in 2017 my car would overheat and shut off on me in the middle of the road. I took it into a Dodge dealership and they said it was my battery after that I had them change the battery. After maybe a day I went to work and the car shut off on me again. I then got an oil change and the car worked good for a few months until I came upon the problem again the car shit off on me in the middle of the highway. I always thought it was the oil because when it happens I change my oil and the car is fine after. I changed my oil recently and my car is still experiencing electrical problems the battery light turns on and it is a hassle to turn the car back on. I have read a lot of complaints on people who have the same car as me it is a big safety hazard to be stuck in the middle of the road I am not satisfied with my car especially since I keep up with the vehicle maintenance and it only has around 40,000 miles on it.

Car flashes check engine light, turns on and off multiple times on its own, unexpectedly shifts into neutral, occasionally goes forward when in reverse (r), steering wheel locks while driving, takes a lot of pressure on the acceleration pedal to move forward.

The brake booster went out while driving the vehicle on a rural highway making it very hard to stop and slow down for curves in the road. The lights flicker in the cab while the car is idling. The car doesn't shift smoothly, shifting is delayed at times going from first gear to second.
The car will not shut off, I'm not a mechanic I dont know what the problem is I am wasting money trying to fix this problem it's been like this for over a year now this should be a recall as well as my oil goes away really fast I have to get an oil change sooner than most even using the good synthetic oils from the dealerships.
While driving on the highway and on city streets, the dash board lights went out and the needles for the speed and rpm went all the way to the bottom like the car was cut off. The car was still in motion. The dashboard said service electrical breaking system and the engine light eluminated. It did this more than one time. It will flicker the warning on the dashboard and then at one point the car cut off while on city streets. At another time when the message flickered on the dashboard the battery light came on. This has happened multiple times and I am concerned about my safety in this car as well as my children. The radio cut off and the eventually cut back on.
Car stalled while driving on a on ramp to the freeway. I pulled over and tried to start it. It sounded like it was trying to turn over by itself for a good 10 seconds. When it restarted, after releasing the break my car thrust forward. Then started to spuber like it wanted to stall again. At that time 3 lights came on on the dash. . . The check engine, stabilization and another I've never seen. Was real close to a Dodge dearer where I bearly made it to. When I asked the person about the tigris light coming on he told me �that means get it in ASAP! something seriously wrong is with the vehicle. � the car has just over 30k miles and I know it's still under warranty.
