Over three times while driving my autostick not available and service transmission light has come on. Car sputters and comes to a stop. Once it happened on a 23 mile bridge where I was almost in an accident because of it. Dealership has had car over 5 times and the second transmission failed same day I got my car back. I still do not have my car back.

Whether I am driving my car on the freeway and stopped w/traffic or on a city street at stop light/sign and my foot is on the break, the car has a tendency to take off on its own. I did take it to a mechanic today 1/15/18 who put it on diagnostic machine and a problem was detected with code p2122 throttle/position sensor/switch"d" circuit low input. Mechanic said I should check for any safety recalls.

When starting the car the rpms race on their own. It accelerates on it own. Check engine light is on. Taking multiple times to start the vehicle. This happened in a parking lot. These things are happening randomly.

Takata recall: I pulled out of my work parking lot at 5pm after it had been sitting since 7am and drove about 2 mins down the rode, car battery light flashed and the car would no longer accelerate and steering wheel locked up. All lights and radio, a/c continued working normally. I was left stuck in the middle of an intersection. I turned the car off and turned the key a couple of times, after about 5-6 times it finally started again and drove away normally. This has happened 6 times now in the past 6 days. Most recently I was driving down a busy street going about 30 mph in far right lane, I saw the battery light flash and I swerved into a parking lot before my steering wheel locked up. It is now taking 15-20 mins to start back up, it seems to be getting worse. It only seems to stall first time driving it in the morning or after work, in both cases the car has been sitting for 8-9 hours. I'm now scared to drive this car fearful it will stop on me and I wont have a chance to get out of harms way.

I'll be driving down the street and it will act like it wants to downshift and forward momentum is lost for a few seconds forward momentum is lost for a few seconds and clicking noises are her during this process.

The car will startle when shifting gears until one day it just stopped responding whenever I stepped on the accelerator. It will only drive no more than 5 miles an hour, making horrible noises and smelling burnt. I had to stop and pull to the side as I was driving. While driving on the mountain roads to driving on the freeway to driving any where my turbo cuts off and I lose almost all power causing me to loose power going up a steep hill and almost get rear ended at least 3 times. Further more when I'm getting ready to merge onto the freeway and it cuts out causing me to almost be hit by truckers. I get a burning smell coming from the engine bay smells almost like oil or wire smell. My speed control is non functioning and my ebrake is also damn near inoperable. I want to know why there hasn't been a total lemon law for 2013 Dodge Darts they are not safe to drive for the owner and anyone else on the road . So if this is a national highway transportation safety administration why is it not recalled!!!!!.

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while driving at different speeds, the clutch pedal went to the floor without warning. The failure recurred three times. The vehicle was towed to three different dealers, including the nelson auto center, inc dealer (218-998-8878, located at 2228 college way, fergus falls, mn 56537) where it was diagnosed that the clutch needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure by email and no response. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000. Fe.

Car gets to about 190 degrees and the service transmission message appears and the check engine light comes on and car goes into limp mode and will not come out of first gear. Once car is shut off it will not turn on for about 45 minutes to an hour even after disconnecting the battery. After 45 minutes to an hour car will start and go about 15 miles and then back into limp mode and will not come out of first gear again. This is very hassardist.

Originally the vehicle dying was said to be due to the oil needing to be changed and something with the turbo engine that my vehicle does not have. Since the previous complaint, the computer system was updated at the dealership. There were no other issues after the computer system update. April 10th the vehicle started making a loud rattling sound. The sound begins once you get over 50-55mph and gets louder the faster you go and the longer you drive. I recorded the sound so that the dealership could not find a problem. The service department said it sounds like a bicycle chain. It is scheduled for service for the rattling problem on June 21. Today while backing out of the driveway the vehicle tried stalling. After drive about 2 miles down the road, the vehicle died while pulling out from a stop sign onto the main road. A car swerved into the turning lane to keep from hitting me. This makes the 4th time that the vehicle has died while driving it. This issue is going to cause me or my children to be injured or killed. The vehicle currently has 14, 153 miles.

"engine stalls out and completely dies". This has happened to me several times already with my six year old in the car. I haven't taken it to the dealership twice already and this will be the third final attempt for repair. I've brought a new battery even after it passed successful testing, and the alternator passed as well. The first time it stopped on me I was on the highway (had the car toll to the nearest autozone for a new battery) had the dealership look at it they stated they could not diagnose the problem since the vehicle was working and could not find anything wrong with the car, 2nd time it stopped two days later on the interstate had the car (this time I had it toll to the dealership) and they put in the work order what I stated did nothing to the engine and only completed the recall on the brakes. The third time it stopped on me while driving was on the highway oct. 2017 had to get a jump and he kept stalling out before it completely stopped this time I contacted Dodge roadside assistance to toll me to the nearest dealership for documentation. I have open a case with Chrysler corporation and feel like I'm getting no where, and the dealership has not even bother to contact me. I'm going through all of this when the car is only 3 years old with 48,000 miles still covered under warranty. All the times I vehicle has stopped on me on dark roads, in traffic, on the instate my daughter has been in the car with me. This car is a danger to me, my, family, and anyone else on the road if I drive this car. For now it continues to be at the dealership while I drive the loaner car they gave me. But I'm still having to make car payments on a vehicle I'm not even driving.

Speed control shuts down without prompting or warning at highway speeds and will not re-engage without shutting off the ignition and restarting the vehicle. Speed control sometimes will not engage without shutting the vehicle down and restarting the vehicle.

This has happened about 6 or 7 times. I start my Dart and it will not shift into gear. It the clutch will be all the way to the floor and it still will not shift. It has happened a few times when I was driving. It scared me I was glad I was not on a busy street or going really fast. It is also stalling when I have done nothing to make it stall. It will be running and then nothing. It has been scary when this happens. I drive for work and with out my car I can not earn a living. So I have made it work. I am getting worried that something is wrong with my car.

Operator had witness in car. Witness observed operator to have foot on brake and not on gas. Fca notified due to lack of response to recall on tcm that had been over 18 months. Fca set appointment with dealer. Dealer advised that fca sent engineers to inspect car at dealership. Dealer advised car was being held for multiple days due to issue. Dealer advised this is not a known issue for the make, model and year. Outcome of fca engineer inspection not known at this time.

My car keeps cutting off while I'm driving. The batter light comes on without any warning. After the batter light comes on the only thing I can do is steer, the car starts to slow down, I can't excel at all, raido and all lights cut off as well. Once the car comes to a complete stop, I'll start it back up sometimes it'll start right back up, or I'll have to hold the key down a few seconds for it to start. The car have stopped on me while driving move than 5 times. I took it to the dealership where I purchased the car and the first few time they said after they ran all of the test they couldn't get the vehicle to duplicate the problem. Another time they asked could they keep the vehicle over night and have a mechanic drive the car home and back to work. The next day when I went to go pick up my vehicle they said they kinda-sorta got the car to duplicate the problem those were there exact words. Then they put a monitor in my car they told me to press the button while I was driving if the car was to go out so they can record the problem. The monitor was in my car for about a month and my car didn't duplicate the problem. A few weeks after they took the monitor out my car cut off on me again and took it back to the shop and they ran the same test and they couldn't figure out what's wrong with it. Another time my car went off I toom it back to the shop and it just so happened that my car was halfway empty on oil and they're telling me that my car is cutting off because it needs oil and they were going to monitor the oil. So they sent me back on the road and told me to come back when my car got to a certain amount of miles they had wrote down , when my car got to that amount of miles that they have wrote down I took my car back to the dealership and I told him to tell me if I needed an oil change and they told me I didnt. The car cut off when I was on the highway and on th.

Tamara recall , when I got the car form the dealer ship till now I put a bit over seven thousand miles on a very new 2014dodge Dart gt besides the occasional clutch getting stuck when I ingaged it forcing me to have to pick it up with my toe I had no problems with the car no stalling or rough shifts until last night when I lost all control while on the highway causing me to have to quickly swerve of the road or be hit by the vehicle behind me . Engine which stil run and can accelerate the car will not more in any gear 1-6 or even reverse and even though this is a constant problem on lots odd Dodge Darts that have been recalled they said my VIN doesn't fall under there recall dates.

"dode Dart recall" I received a postage a few months ago about a recall for my Dart, everytime I have tried to contact allstar about the recall they have informed me that the parts have yet to arrive. , I have had my car a year and a half. Currently everytime I start my car it is saying service transmission on the dash. On several ocassions the car has automatically went into the neural shift, while driving causing me to completly stop in the middle of traffic!!!!!I have almost been into about 4 accidents because of the glitch with my transmission, the air also will work and blow out hot air on one side. Everytime I stop at a stop sign the car struggles to pull off causing my car to jerk tremendously I am destined to get this issued resolved . Allstar still have not contacted me back about the recall, I need my car fixed ASAP.

My 2016 Dodge Dart overheats the rpm goes up and down when the car is in motion. On June 26 my car cut off on me in the middle of the road and it took me ten mins to start it up my check engine light keeps going on and off and every time I take it in they say its nothing wrong with it. My oil pressure light comes on and I have 100 percent oil in my car. When I put on brakes it acts like it doesnt want to stop so ihave to brake farther away from peoples cars.

My car has 1550 miles on it. It was parked in my car port with shift in park. I started the car as normal. The car was idling at 750rpm then after about one minute the engine roared to 5000rpm for about 10 seconds and then returned to normal 750rpm. My foot was not touching or near the accelerator pedal during this time. Had I been backing out of the car port during this period the results would no doubt have been serious. Although it has not repeated in the three days following the incident, nevertheless it worries me that it might happen while in gear resulting in an accident.

Rpm to high my car jerk I had to press on brakes.

While driving on the highway in the fast lane, my gas pedal went all the way to the floor and my car lost all acceleration and steering became hard to turn. When this happened most of my car engine lights were blinking and when I placed the car in park the vehicle didn't notice it was in park. Thankfully I was able to get off to the emergency shoulder. I took the car into the dealership where they told me there was a recall notice in August 26th which was just sent out to Dodge Dart owners. The dealership told me it would cost me 1,500-2,000 to fix the problem, money which I do not have so I traded in my car with negative equity, and the dealership, I believe was very non-professional and took advantage of the situation. They also showed me an incorrect nada price chart for the trade-in value to my car.

I have not been notified at all on my recalls. There has been several things I've called my dealership on and I thought it had been fixed not knowing it was a recall. But it is not fixed. My transmission won't let me put car in reverse very easy. My car engine rpms get higher when I approach to stop. It acts like it's not getting enough fuel st times like it cuts out. My bluetooth is hard to connect. My front driver tire has wore out 2 side walls tires but has never went flat but never shows it's very low but it is never the same as others. My car front driver makes a noise like suspension is messed up and it's very rough riding. I no longer get good gas mileage. When I go to park my car it wants to roll aft err being put in park. The breaks are very touchy. Barely graze the pedal and you'll hit the steering wheel. I wanted a new car all my life and after 35 years I was finally able to get one and I'm still in the same position as before. Please help on what to-do considering I've yet to even receive anything about my car having any recall. And I've got 2 kids that I'm raising alone andi'm it says can cause accident why can't I get a replacement car till they get the parts to make my car safe. I'm very unhappy.

I purchased my Dodge Dart in oct 2014. On July 10 2015 I got into my car and noticed the speedometer was not working. I returned home and called the dealer to get it to the shop. My appointment was for July 15 and I dropped it off the evening of the 14th. They called on the 16th of July to say my vehicle was ready and that they reprogrammed the computer. I was driving it the next day and the speedometer was not working again. I called the dealer and made them aware and took the car back to them. I also provided video to them showing the issue at hand. The dealer called on the 24th of July to say I could come and pick up my car until the part came in to repair my speedometer on August 5th. They told me they do not feel a speedometer that does not work is a safety concern.

While accelerating from a stand still on to a freeway or any road with a speed limit above 25 mph is very dangerous in this car. When you step on the accelerator pedal the cars does not respond very fast and takes a few seconds before it actually gets up and moves to a good speed. This issue happens every time you accelerate, this has been an issue since I bought the car. I have had many close calls while merging into traffic.

The vehicle has a manual transmission. My vehicle revs when attempting to shift it. The clutch will be completely up and the vehicle will still rev as if it is engaged. At this point there is nothing that can be done until it stops revving. It also grinds and clatters when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear. Very rough shifting and sometimes experience a burning smell after its driven.

I have been having the same issue and a burning smell happening. In October the dealer replaced the tcm at 33,000 miles and stated I was lucky to be under warranty since it would cost $600+ out of pocket. Now on christmas morning I had the check engine light, service transmission message, and autostick not available message display. I was able to limp home to have r, n, d show gear not available. After waiting I turned the car on and the messages cleared. Then 2 days later I was an hour late to work since the messages and shifting problem occurred on the highway. During traffic stoppages I could not get up to speed fast enough and almost caused an accident. The message and issue cleared again when I left work and I drove home but now it shifts at 5,000+ rpm when accelerating after a stop sign. Burning smell is back and car is sluggish. Seems like Chrysler is waiting for enough people to die before addressing the issue. Currently have 39,000 miles on car. Before the issue in October there was also a "software update" for this after I had it about a week with 500-600 miles around mid August 2013. I purchased this car new to have reliable transportation for work. Now it seems I have an unreliable car with loan payments and dealer service costs since Chrysler doesn't cover transmission problems with the power train warranty apparently.
