This would cause the vehicle to roll away unexpectedly if the switch was not engaged. The dealer advised reprogramming the transfer case control module. When placed into drive, the vehicle will shift into neutral. The dealer stated that they performed the repair correctly and will charge $80 to diagnose what they suggest is a new failure. When the gear shift lever was in drive it blocked the controls for the rear wiper and fan controls. The dealer has been notified.

While making a right turn main rear leaf spring broke. Dealership indicated that although this was a common problem the cause had not yet been determined. Also with the keys in the ignition, but not engaged , consumer was able to put vehicle in gear without the brake pedal being depressed.
Consumer received recall notification (01v077000), consumer was informed by the dealer that a particular part would need to be ordered, consumer had to contact the dealer on 2 occassions to check the status of the parts, which took almost 2 months to get resolved.
