Failure Date: 04/15/2005

Dodge, Durango: the brake do not have to be applied to place vehicle into gear or switch gear positions. There is similar to a recall. But this is Chrysler town and country but not Durango. No repairs or corrections at this time. Has not been to a dealer or repair service at this time. Has not contacted daimler/Chrysler. Consumer wanted to file complaint because vehicle was not included in the recall.

2 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2004

When shifting gears vehicle produces a loud knocking noise.

3 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem

Failure Date: 08/17/2001

Gear shift indicator doesn't indicate what gear vehicle is in. Will put vehicle in park with indicator staying in park. Consumer states gear shift may not indicate any gear at all.
