Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph, the engine misfired as the vehicle stalled without any warnings. The contact lost control off the vehicle and crashed into a tree. As a result, smoke started to emit from the dashboard and shortly after it burst into flames. A police report was filed and all five passengers sustained unknown injuries that required medical assistance. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard, where it had not been inspected. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000. Pm.
