The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle's electrical system failed to work as needed. The brake warning light illuminated, the cruise control light illuminated, and the check engine warning light illuminated. Additionally, the heater control valve failed to work as needed. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 156,000.

I was driving to work on 09/19/08 coming down a hill, I pressed my brakes to stop and the truck kept rolling. I pumped and pumped until I came to a stop. I had someone look at it before I took it to the shop and my steering column box was rubbing against my brake hose and put a hole in it. I have a warranty on my truck but it has been in the shop 4 times already for oxygen sensor, serpentine belts, loose bolts under the body and now my brakes. Everytime I take it in they tell me my warranty doesn't cover what's wrong with it. So I take it to the shop and the call me Saturday morning and tells me that my warranty doesn't cover and it's going to cost $600. 00 to fix it. I drove over to the dealership and told them that they could have it back because I haven't had it for a year and have had too many costly problems. So guess what they are paying for it to get fixed.
