Dear sir's, I made an appointment and went to the Dodge dealership to have a recall defective maintenance performed on the clock spring in my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, which has made my driver side airbag inoperable. They advised me that the part is not in stock and that there are over 6,000 on back order. They gave me a phone number to call so that could get a reference and or case number. I was advised that by doing this I would be covered. Is there further need for any other actions on my part?.
Consumer was traveling about 35mpg on a side street and another vehicle ran a stop sign and ran into side of consumer's vehicle. Vehicle was totaled. Driver's side airbags didn't deploy, and there were no injuries.
