Headlights problems of the 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan

When the low beams are on one headlight is out and when the high beams are on the other headlight is out. I had it fixed twice by two different shops until I found that the problem is the front computer module. The fix is a new front module which is around $550. 00 (part is 450/labor 100). My complaint is that it is a safety issue and very expensive to fix, also it took quite some time to figure out exactly what needed to be fixed, during that time I didn't feel safe in the vehicle driving at night. I believe there should be a recall on this module as I have seen many other people who have had the same problem.

When the ignition is first turned on, the daylight lights come on the driver side only, the passenger light is off. When the headlights are turned on the passenger side turns on only, the driver side is off. When high beams are turned on the driver side comes on only, and the passenger side is off. Verified the bulbs they're all ok. ?.

Since the purchase of this vehicle, I have experienced head light-interior flickering to which the dealer cannot solve.

I have had 2 brief headlight failures (10 seconds or so) and my headlights occasionally flicker or dim. My lightswitch gets very hot when the lights are on for more than 30 minutes.
