1 Catalytic Convertor problem

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. While having the vehicle serviced for routine maintenance at an independent mechanic, the contact was informed that the vehicle was abnormally burning approximately 3 quarts of oil every 3,000 miles and would clog the catalytic convertor. As a result, the catalytic converter had failed. The mechanic advised the contact that the engine would need to be replaced in order to remedy the failure. The vehicle was not serviced for the failure. The VIN was unavailable. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 62,000.
