The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that all four brakes and rotors were worn and needed to be replaced. The contact was concerned since the brakes began wearing with such low miles on the vehicle. The dealer informed the contact that the brake warranty was one year or 12,000 miles and that the manufacturer agreed to pay half of the repair costs. The dealer did not inform the contact why. The contact is aware of related failures for his year make and model vehicle. The current the failure mileages were 25,000.
The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the front rotors were warped and damaged the brake pads. The brakes and rotors need to be replaced. The failure has occurred twice within seven months. The first time the vehicle was taken to the dealer, they refused to acknowledge the defect until the brake pads were grinding and failed inspection. The brake pads and rotors were replaced at that time; however, the failure has recurred. The vehicle is currently being repaired.
