Air Conditioner problems of the 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan

I purchased this used handicapped equipped Dodge back on June 26, 2015. The spare key didn't work, so I went to larry miller Dodge in peoria, az to see if I could get it fixed. They said there was a recall on the van, and it would be foolish to purchase another key, as the recall would necessitate replacement of both keys anyway. I have called them twice since that time and am still waiting for them to call me back to schedule the recall work. In the meantime I don't have a spare key, so I'm unable to leave the van running without it. My wife is a paraplegic and sometimes has to sit in the van while I run into the store to pick up something. When it's more than 100 degrees outside she gets extremely hot because the air conditioning isn't running. The spare key would allow me to leave the van running and lock it up until I can get back to the van. The last time I spoke with the dealer, they told me they would put a "priority" on the recall service, but that was more than a month ago, and I still haven't heard anything from them. This is really getting frustrating.
