Tl-the contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the the seat belt in the center row of the vehicle was inoperable. The the contact stated that the buckled failed to latch securely. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. Gary miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram, 5746 peach st, erie, PA 16509, (814) 868-3635, was contacted by phone and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not covered under any warranties. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 91794. Ah.

Seat Belt problem #2

Airbag light is on constantly - never turns off. Seat belt light will sometimes come on even when seat belt is secure. Fuel pump doesn't stop running after engine is shut off. While driving, all lights will come on on dash and gauges/headlights will flicker then car will die. Has happened more than three(!) times at night on busy highway with 2 toddlers in car!!! had to pull off road in complete darkness. I am fearful of driving this car. I will not drive at night anymore.

Seat Belt problem #3

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at 10 mph the third row rear driver's side passenger attempted to adjust the seat belt. The seat belt began to retract and failed to unbuckle. The seat belt had to be fractured in order to release the passenger. The passenger sustained minor bruises on the abdomen that did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and sent a special investigator to inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was 71,000.

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the steel cable attached to the front driver side seat belt fractured. As a result, the seat belt could not function as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the seat belt assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.

Seat Belt problem #5

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the check engine light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they advised that there was an electrical issue and they reset the system. Later, while driving at highway speeds the vehicle suddenly decelerated before stalling. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and it was taken back to the dealer where she was advised that the cam sensor had malfunctioned. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the driver side rear third row seat belt suddenly locked with a passenger in the seat. While trying to loosen the seatbelt, it only continued to tighten around the passenger. The seat belt was eventually cut and the passenger received minor bruises to the abdomen as a result. The vehicle was taken to the dealer again where they replaced the seat belt. The failure mileage was approximately 1,500 and the current mileage was approximately 4,200.
