The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while applying the brakes, the front end of the vehicle jerked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the rear brake pads and rotors were defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 35,000.
Premature brake pad wear, both front and rear brake pads. Rotors warping prematurely. These issues require yearly replacement at significant cost. I had to purchase high end, vented rotors and ceramic pads, at significant cost, to prevent the oem part failures.
