Engine Oil Leaking problems of the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan

Tl-the contact owns a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the vehicle was recently purchased. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked in the garage overnight. Upon moving the vehicle out of the garage, engine leaked out onto the garage floor. The contact stated upon inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware of three areas on the oil pan that was rusted out and had holes which allowed engine oil to leak from the oil pan. The contact was concerned that the oil leak could cause a fire and injury to the vehicle occupants. An unnamed dealer was contacted and the contact was informed that there was no recall or warranty for the oil pan on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 146,000. Ah.
