Air Bag Light On problems of the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan

Well I was driving the airbag light came on and keeps giving me a warning signal. Cruise control won't work.

One day, I found my drivers seat head rest had come opened. When looking to see what caused this, it said that you were rear ended? I was not rear ended! now my air bag light is on? I had ask a Dodge dealer about it , and he said that it would cost a thousand dollars to fix it? when reading about the recalls on it, I read where the clips are breaking. Making the head rest to come open, and the air bags not working? please can you help me with this problems? I don't feel that it is my fault? thank you lori beebe.

Vie owned the van for a year now . And then without being involved in any kind of a bump or accident. No damage shown on the of any . The air bag light stated blaring on the dash . Im very concerned that if I was involved in a future accident. They would fail.

The airbag light goes on and off every so often also blinks when going a certain speed.

Air bag light comes and goes when corner is turned.

I do not have a takata but my vehicle has the takata recall issue plus I only had my vehicle for almost 2yrs but I have 5 kids and it worries me to drive with that light on and some weird noise that just started in my driver back tire but this airbag light thats on worries me im scared to drive and my kids have to get back and fourth to school, what am I suppose to do. Oh my car has not been in any accident.

Air bag light goes on and off like ther is someone in passenger seat when empty,car turns air bag on and off by weight. Doesnt work properly. In 2011 recall on same vehicle for bad havac causing leak. This stops heating systom from working properly and air bag not to work . My 2013 doing same but know recall. Does all the time.

The air bag light turned on while sitting at a complete stop. I noticed that when I get up from the seat the light will go off and then back on again once I sit back down. I seemed to do it more when the car had been in direct sun light. Since the first time it came on the light is random and comes on and off at any given time. Dealer has been notified and service is scheduled for later this week.
