Short in electrical system, dvd stopped working (no video) shortly after lights flashed, horn sounded, wipers wouldnt shut off, windows would go down in front, ac not working, radio out, lights on dash illuminated. Discovered we could toggle these by opeming and shutting video screen. A week later while driving the engine abruptly stopped working while on the road. Was able to restart car. Lights on ac continue to flicker.
Driver stopped at a stop sign, turned right, accelerated to 10-15 mph and the vehicle's engine shut off. At the same time the four way lights began flashing, horn sounded (like a car alarm activated - on-off-on-off), wipers began moving back and forth along with wind shield fluid spraying out. After coasting to a stop, the driver smelled something burning and immediately evacuated the vehicle and called 911. Fire crews arrived to find a fire in the engine compartment, driver's side. Fire extinguished with water. No injuries. Vehicle towed to secure location for further investigation.
