The consumer noticed rust around the engine. The vehicle was service and the technician noticed that the strut tower was rusted. The consumer noticed rust around the engine. The Dodge dealer I went to see said he is seeing this show on vans. The loss of the strut support.
Front end still noisy after replacing left front strut, swaybar bushing, tie rod ends, swaybar cusions, and evaperator.
Driver side front strut is rusted. Vehicle is pulling hard to the left, making turns to the left very difficult. Also, turns to the right are equally tough.
The left front strut tower, where the suspension was bolted to the vehicle, rusted out. The strut can fall off the vehicle at anytime without warning. When the vehicle was first purchased, the consumer noticed minor rust on the strut tower right hand side only. The consumer said that there were others with the same problem.
