I can't unscrew 4 lug nuts on my rear wheel. I was able to remove just one bought extra tool try to remove them all. Material is like butter, not steel. How engineering could let material like that to be used. I found on the web that a dealer wonna $400 to remove that lugs. . . .

Tire pressure sensor light keeps coming on I've had the tire pressure sensors replaced with non oem and now oem Chrysler parts and vehicle doesn't recognize any of the sensors other than the left front but all sensors pass when individually scanned vehicle was made with in one week of end date of the safety recall p63 NHTSA 14v-632 mechanic shop found this recall and thinks this vehicle should be included but I can't find a dealership that will honor the recall I have 2 other invoices for this same problem.

I have a 2014 Dodge caravan. The van only has 48 k miles. The battery went bad so I replaced the battery. Then the problem started. 1st the car will not turn off. I remove the key and the engine is still running and won't turn off. I had to remove the asd relay which was very hot. Once I was able to shut down ,now the dashboard shows the car in reverse but it is actually in park and won't come out of gear. The check engine light is on, the tire is low light is on, and the car with tire tracks is on,(abs). I looked up recalls and they have had a recall on the fuelpump relay .

Both sliding door lock actuators buzzed and stopped functioning properly, causing them to need to be replaced. This has been difficult to have the doors close and get the kids in and out. Tpms failing, pressures correct on newer tires light keeps coming on.

Was going to pick a friend up from the airport, stopped at the gas station because the van suddenly started handling funny, and noticed 4 wheel studs were sheared off. Had to tow the vehicle to the shop.

We've had two separate incidents a few months apart where a tire suddenly feel off the vehicle. In both instances, the studs had been sheared off. Then, last week, a 2009 Chrysler town and country lost a wheel that hit my house. I checked the vehicle, and the studs were sheared off that one as well. Google turns up a studs recall for the 2012-2021, but that recall doesn't go far enough back.

I took my vehicle in for a alignment today at mavis tire and was told as follows. The real axel is at . 35 and it is supposed to be at . 05. The mechanic said this is the reason that my tires keep wearing out on the back end of my vehicle. He also stated that he tried to fix the problem but was unable to. He stated that he was unsure why it is like that because it is not supposed to be.

I have purchased my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan new in 2014 and I purchased a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan for my daughter. Both required transmissions replaced? my unfortunately was out of warranty for time not miles driven. My daughter's vehicle was covered by the warrantee. The first issue with my vehicle was wheel bearing going out. When they checked more in depth they discovered metal pieces in the transmission fluid. As a result my vehicle required a new transmission as did my daughter's vehicle. What I find very interesting is that the dealership had transmissions in stock? seems like this is a bigger issue than they let on.

I bought this car from dealer of tim dahle and I could not find the spare tire when I checked it. The salesman told me Dodge Grand Caravan does not have spare tire. When I waiting for financial process to pay for it, I checked youtube and found the position of spare tire. So, I asked the salesman to help me checking if this care has spare tire or not. They did not inform me until I completed all process to purchase it. I was told that this car does not have spare tire and this trim (sxt) of Grand Caravan does not have spare tire. They said only the trim of gt have spare tire. However, that is not the truth and I have bought it before I know the defect of this car. I am not sure if dept. Of transportation is the correct place I file my complaint. But I think there are 2 things I should complain. First, I was not given the correct description of the car's potential risk without a spare tire. The salesman tried to hide the fact about the spare tire, though I asked them to check it for me. Second, all the reports the dealership shown to me did not include the issue of spare tire until I found it. However, the salesman still tried to hide this issue. They explain that the spare tire does not have use in most of time, but I believe it is very important in self-repairing of tire issues, especially in long-distance travelling. And of course, I told the salesman that I would travel from ut to NJ in this March. But they still tried to deceive me to believe that this car should be without spare tire. I cannot provide any image because of the position to fix spare tire in Grand Caravan is very hidden. But they know that it did not have.

I was driving down the highway when the low tire pressure light came on, then the check engine light came on and then everything went out including the radio and everything on the dashboard. Then it all lit up like a christmas tree and it was like I was free driving and neutral I pressed on the brake and nothing happened. I ended up crashing to the back of someone's car.

I was driving down local highway where speed limit is 50mph and road conditions are bumpy and uneven. Also there is a railway crossing. I was going about 48mph when my low tire pressure light came on. I did not feel a difference in the way my vehicle was driving or hear anything such as flat. I went directly to the gas station straight ahead of me. When I got out to inspect my vehicle I noticed my back drivers side tire was flat. After further examination I noticed it looked to almost have a slit like puncture to the side wall. Note I had not hit any curbs and my vehicle is kept in a garage.

I drive a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. Last week, as I was driving my children to their grandmothers house, I noticed the steering wheel shaking. I regained control and made it to my moms house and dropped off the children. As I left her house and made it back to the road, the van became hard to steer. It started jerking to one side and wobbling. I called the dealership where I purchased my van and was told to bring it in immediately. The day after bringing the van in, I returned to dealership and they showed me what was wrong with the van. It was lifted up into the air and I was showed that the rear axle on the driver side had been broken. There was 2 mechanics there and one suggested that I had been in a collision or hit a big pothole. The other said that it couldn't have been a driver error because of the way the break on the axle was bent as well as the lack of any scratches or damage to any other area of the van. My tires and rims show no damage, and the undercarriage of the van also shows no sign of hitting a pothole, as there are no scratches anywhere under the van. One of the mechanics said it could have been something wrong with the axle because of the bent way it was broken and he also noticed that it showed signs of it being already cracked because the metal appeared to be old on one spot and fresh on another. I highly deny hitting anything like a pot hole or having been in a collision there is absolutely no damage to any part of my vehicle save the broken axle.

While driving at 35 mph or less for less than 5 minutes in city traffic, my right rear tire blew out. Firestone fr710. Purchased 11/30/15.

Kumho solus kh16 tires came on my new 2015 Dodge caravan. Only 21000 miles later, 3 of the 4 tires had pieces of tread chucking off. Two of the tires appear to have splitting in the rim area as if the casing is separating. I was 220 miles from home on christmas vacation when I had all four tires replaced. My extended family has 2 caravans with the same kumho tires and all show the same issues. The tire dealer noted the tires were manufactured in 2014 (p225/65 r17 h100, cab502c, 0261971, 011341sw). After reading other tire reviews it appears there are many safety and wear issues with this tire brand. I could not locate an authorized kumho dealer in the amelia island area the day after christmas but did not care as I would never have this brand on any car I owned after this experience. Really, how can this tire be sold at all?.

2006 Dodge caravans have a dummy spare tire located near the gas tank subject to all weather conditions and they become dry rotted and can explode. There is no protection cover that previous Dodge cars had. I had one blow as I was about to use it on the van. I sincerely no one has one blow while mounted near the gas tank.

I was on highway 87 in I was in motion all of a sudden the wheel jerked to the left I tried to keep streering wheel stright and then it jerked to the right, and then it got stuck motor stilln running and then it went into reverse by itself without me touching anything there was a lot of damage dune to my van. Collision location sr-87 & mp-214 report #2018-052783 date 10/24/18 the airbags did note operate at all.

Low tire pressure warning light stays on after checking that tires are inflated correctly. Chrysler dealership said there was no recall on my vehicle and they recommended replacing all four sensors: $75 per wheel plus labor.

Thanks to bad engineering. . . I had a tire pressure sensor break apart from my wheel and caused a brand new tire to blow on the highway. The threads on the pressure sensor are made of aluminum and the wheel is a steel one. So, in essence, a part made for my safety caused an accident. Yikes!!! this is not right.

I had a tire blow on the highway when the tpms came loose because of corrosion.

Vehicle has slightly over 17000 miles and front tires are bald. We have taken to dealer for all scheduled services and tire rotations. Last rotation of tires 3/18 with no comment or caution from technicians. During discussion with service manager she had all sorts of excuses for why this could occur. I asked about the tire warranty and she had no info to share. Additionally, conveniently she could not find any record of our vehicle being to them for service since purchase. I do have proof.

My tire pressure sensors keep saying my tires are low but there not when I check em the sensors go on and off and I never know if there right just bought it for used dealer in may 2018 and have been going on and off I have even replaced the tires thinking something was wrong with them then I seen that they may have been recalled but dealer didn't say anything about it.

I had suspension work completed on my vehicle (inner/outer tie rods, rack and pinion and control arms replaced by a shop) after driving back to texas I noticed both front tires were extremely worn and was close to a blow out. I contacted the shop about it and they refused to work with me. After taking my vehicle to a local repair shop the mechanic stated that the alignment appeared to not have been done and that the specs was off the charts. The mechanic contacted the shop that made the initial repairs and they denied not completing an alignment. I've had this vehicle for over 11 years and my tires have never worn this fast and it didn't happen until this repair shop did the suspension work on my vehicle. The shop needs to be investigated for unsafe maintenance practices. Their maintenance and lack of safety standards put the safety of my family in jeopardy, and they're still in denial of any wrong doing nor are they willing to provide me specs of the alignment they said they did. Valve stem corroded and catastrophically failed. I was lucky it didn't end up embedded in my face.

I do not have a takata but my vehicle has the takata recall issue plus I only had my vehicle for almost 2yrs but I have 5 kids and it worries me to drive with that light on and some weird noise that just started in my driver back tire but this airbag light thats on worries me im scared to drive and my kids have to get back and fourth to school, what am I suppose to do. Van was parked in the driveway, started washing the back drivers side tire rim on the van and the valve stem popped off and the tire completely deflated from just barely touching it with a rag!! second tire that has done this. Two weeks ago another tire was low on air, stopped at a gas station to fill it up with air and the valve stem broke off as soon as he tried to fill it and completely deflated. We had to put a rubber valve stem into that tire. This is our family vehicle with a 9, 6, and 5 year old riding in this car. If the valve stem broke that easily it could've happened while driving down the road and we could've been in an accident where my children could've gotten hurt!.

Hub bearing assembly failed. This a safety issue have children and this need to be fix have concerns about reports by several customers that have to come out of pocket when this is a defect from manufacter.

Driving at about 70 mph, when the l/r tire tread separated from the tire.

Vehicle has poor traction and is prone to slipping in winter snow conditions. While driving as well as when picking up speed at intersections the vehicle is prone to sliding and has poor traction when accelerating.

Bad struts bad brakes.

Shortly after getting my van I felt that it did not handle properly. I experieced hydro planning when brand new to me. Tracking upon acceleration was pore. Very poor tracking at acceleration going into a turn at start up speed. I called Chrysler and they said there had been no complaints to date. By suggestion, I paid $100 for an alignment. The alignment did not help with this matter. Any type of precipitation affects the tracking of the vehicle. Any painted lines on the road affect traction. It seems that the traction control is the problem, or maybe the yokohama avid tires are the problem. When I accelerate in any given situation my tires will spin or traction control slips back and forth as I cross over any reflective surfaces (lines on road, or stop strips, or crosswalks). I have had to learn to stop on road surface, prior to crossing any differentiated surfaces. Right turn on red is mostly forbidden, as I may spin my way out in front of faster moving traffic. This van now has 24,000 miles on it, and the tires need replaced from the spin in acceleration. . At 2 1/2 years old, I am concerned enough to trade for a different make. I have owned a 1992 Dodge caravan, a 2007 town & country, and now this 2016 Dodge caravan. My friend who works for the state of pennsylvania, has to use a new Dodge caravan, on occasion, out of their fleet , he too agreed that tracking was an issue wth the van going straight down the road. I find it very hard to believe that I am one of two people to complain on this vehicles handling. Today 02/10/2019 we received one inch of snow. I was heading out for errands. My tracking was horrible. I had to anticipate actions of others an myself well in advance. I stopped at a red light on a other than level down hill slope (very mild), aniticpated vehicles ahead moving, I left of my brake to roll. Turning at 5mph, I lost control.

7. 5k miles on vehicle, moving from a parking spot the esc light came on, then the rack and pinion completely snapped. The vehicle is inoperable. Had my family and myself been on the highway and this happened would've resulted in serious injury or death.
