One problem related to transmission pump has been reported for the 1997 Dodge Intrepid. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Would have a delay in gears when shifting transmission. The problem is intermittent. Has been to dealer & was informed by mechanic the problem could not be duplicated. After numerous happenings, dealer replaced/repaired a transmission pump-no further problems.
