The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Intrepid. While driving approximately 35 mph on normal road conditions, the engine stalled without warning. The contact made several attempts before the engine would restart. There were no warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. When the vehicle resumed operation, the performance was poor. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing and they discovered a timing belt defect. The engine was replaced at the contact's expense. The failure mileage was 76,000 and current mileage was 87,000.
Ac idle pulley bracket has been replaced twice and now it appears that it will have to be replaced a third time all within this year (2004).
