Brake pedal goes completely to the floor when braking. Happens intermittently, brakes work perfectly fine for 2 to 3 weeks then occurs again. Has happened 4 times. Completely replaced brake fluid, checked brake pump and brake line for leaks, no leakage visible. Can it be brake module or abs module that is defective? vehicle was in motion everytime situation occurred on the highway.
Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph smoke was present coming from the rear passenger side wheel. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who diagnosed that the brake line had failed. The vehicle was repaired and the failure was remedied. The failure mileage was 36,974. Jft.
