I applied my brakes and they became spongy then shortly after that the brakes almost would not stop. Vehicle is unsafe to drive. The brakes began to bottom out even when applied while in park. There is no loss of brake fluid in master cylinder. Suspect abs system. There was a recall to fix abs failure that the dealer did.
2013 Dodge Journey. Consumer writes seeking reimbursement for repairs made related to safety recall. The consumer stated the abs module failed and was replaced at the owner's expense. The manufacturer denied reimbursement due to the repair having been over 2 years and was out of warranty.
