I received two safety recalls that my dealer has never fixed. One for the abs system r61/NHTSA 15v-675 and one for the beauty cover r32/NHTSA 15v-431. I was supposed to be contacted when the parts were available and never was. My beauty cover has come off and my abs system randomly turns off. I am not sure who reported that these repairs for the recalls were completed but they were not. I would like them to be completed before my car either catches fire or my abs gives out and I get in an accident.

I need help getting this fixed.

Bought the car brand new and have had to do brakes 4 times. Travel with vehicle is mostly local to and from work and school sporting events for the kids. Had to redo them in 6 month period.
The brake pedal goes extremely soft after the anti-lock brake system engages or after braking when driving over a bump/pothole. It can still brake, but I have to press the pedal to the floor, and the car slows down rather than stopping. It will stay soft a while (15-20 min), but I found that if I pump them hard a few times (like while at a red light) it then returns to normal. This has happened many times, mostly recently 2/28/2019. I'm afraid this will happen and result in me having an accident or rear-ending someone.

Brakes aren't catching at times almost have several accidents on the highway and city streets when I step on brakes I have to keep pumping them to stop . . Then when I try start car it says key aren't located even while driving.
I was driving my car through town(35mph) when it just shut off. I didn't have power steering or brakes. No alert lights come on. I managed to pull into a gas station, put it in park then it restarted after I pushed the button. I did chat with Chrysler and they said no recalls or issues showed up for my car. After googling my experience, I found numerous other complaints from people having the same problem. If I had been going faster on the highway or even on our curvy backroads I could have been seriously injured or even killed! I drive my children in this car and I'm scared to death to get back in it. I'm still paying on nb this car and it's a deathtrap!.

My battery died at year and a half, of 3 year warranty. After going several rounds and up to manager, they replaced the defective battery. I had rcvd info on recall t47, w/airbags and steering wiring issue, so had that taken care of also. I p/u Journey, on my way hm the esc light kept coming on and brakes would lock up, car would pull to the left and alot of rattling under the front end, pulling me into other lane. It was dry, no rain on a straight road. Called had to wait 4 days to take back in, told they forgot to re-initialize abs system and that the battery being disconnected caused issue, I asked why it didn't happen after 1st battery was replaced, they didn't know. On my way home, the issue was back, took it back to lhmiller Dodge, was then told that they need to diagnose, saying it could be clock spring/axle/driveshaft/differential and it will cost several hundreds just to diagnose. I asked if they could replace the initial recalled r16 esc part and was told that would be at my expense. I was told that they did not open the steering wheel/shaft to have caused the issue w/clock spring during t47 repair. The instructions on replacement show that they would have to open it and be in direct contact w/clock spring. They are wanting to pay for what was not replaced and what they damaged. My car is still having the issue and I think they should replace the esc part and clock spring at no charge. I don't have money to get a diagnosis and then have to pay additional for repair. The esc light comes on while I am in park and while driving on straight city roads, it engages and the vehicle starts to slow down like it is going to stall and you cannot apply gas or it pulls more. Before I took it in for the warrantied battery and recall, I had no issues with the vehicle.
Driving down a state road and my brakes became spongy. In order to stop I would have to slow down and push my brakes pedal to the floor. The first time it happened I pulled over and shut my car off too call someone. As soon as I started my vehicle again the brakes were fine. Today I decided to pull over again and turn the car off. When I turned it back on I pumped the brakes a few times and it was back to normal. This has happened to me three times so far. I have a newborn and cannot risk brake problems. I checked and my vehicle does not have a recall, however, Dodge Journeys between 2012 and 2015 have recalls. Mine is a 2013 but no recall. Is this the same issue? and if so, why do I not have a recall on mine?.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Journey. While driving approximately 30 mph, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard while attempting to stop. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The braking ability returned after the failure occurred. The failure occurred twenty times since the vehicle was purchased. The vehicle had been at the dealer at least six times for repairs after receiving a recall issued by the manufacturer. The contact had to pay for the repairs because the recall was not issued the first three times. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The recall details were unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.
Takata recall. Brakes locked up trying to avoid a car coming towards me, lost control and airbags deployed in an accident and smoked and burnt my arm and leg.
I took my car to five star Dodge in warner robins, GA to have the recall (r61) repairs done to the vehicle. While the dealership had my car they called and told me that they did the recall but my abs (anti lock brake system) light was still on which is what the recall is for and they would look at it but it would cost me the diagnostic fee if I didn't get the repairs done or they would charge me for the repairs. Why should I have to pay for repairs for a problem that was recalled on the vehicle? I don't understand.
