Own a Dodge Journey sxt awd 2013. Received recall notification r61/NHTSA recall 15v-675 on December 27, 2015 regarding possible anti-lock brake system (abs) and electronic stability control (esc) systems failure. I had an accident with this vehicle on July 28, 2015 (rear-ended another vehicle, tried to avoid collision, but vehicle did not react as expected) causing a total damage to this vehicle of app. $ 5,000. I have 33 years of driving experience and never had an accident until that day. I could not explain to the investigating police department nor to my insurance company why this accident happened. I tried to contact the fca (Dodge) customer service/recall center, but did not receive a response yet.
