The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was shaking and the steering wheel was vibrating. The contact pulled over and noticed that the driveshaft had detached. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that there were bolts missing from the driveshaft. The manufacturer was contacted but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 91,000.
My Dodge Journey has less than 70,000 miles on it. At this point the entire rear drive shaft and all motor and transmission mounts have been replaced. They were all severely damaged. Tires show significant wear even though vehicle is within alignment standards. The far left vent (driver's side) blows cool air, but the other three front vents are blowing heat. There is a severe, loud roaring sound that has yet to be diagnosed. This is a ridiculous amount of problems in such a short time of vehicle usage.
