Cruise Control problems of the 2016 Dodge Journey

1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 12/20/2020

The battery fuse keeps blowing out truck won't stop running internal electrical systems killing battery popping fuses,ac thermostat system after being turned off keeps turning itself back on over and over won't stay off ,after replacing battery in remote truck driver side door fails to open or unlock only passenger side works,truck won't acknowledge fully new battery in remote to start truck ,locks me out of truck and doesn't honk to tell me keys are inside anymore ,cruise control will not cancel , transmission pump fails causing stalling in gear not shifting gears properly jumping out of gear. Engine won't turn over after electrical systems drain overnight parked one day. Radio station turns channels by itself without touching anything. Driving.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 02/07/2019

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. While driving 30 mph, the contact's vehicle accelerated on its own. Also, when the cruise control was engaged, it would seize and fail to deactivate. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to scott evans Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, ram (2280 bankhead hwy, carrollton, GA 30116, (770) 834-5050), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer stated that the remedy would not be available until next month. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 38,123.

3 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2018

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. While operating the vehicle, the abs and traction control indicators remained illuminated. Also, the cruise control stopped operating. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the front passenger side wheel bearing sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The sensor was replaced and the failure was remedied; however, the failure recurred approximately one year later. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 39,000.
