During use of the vehicle, whether stationary or in motion, the "gas cap light" will come on followed by "check engine light". When this happens the code p0456 will cause the car to act indifferent, it is still drivable, but can cause other components to show a false reading. This issue has happened 4 times in the past 2 months, and every time we go to the dealership the check engine light will disappear. We have checked the gas cap, and this vehicle is under 17,000 miles. This seems to be a common issue with Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler vehicles, and this should be handled by the manufacturer. Treat this known issue as a recall, and improve upon your evaporative emission system.
