Three problems related to transmission gear slipping have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission is slipping and wouldn't shift into gear. First time it happened vehicle had 47,000 miles, and the engine was rebuild. Consumer took it to a mechanic to have it rebuild for a second time.
Purchased new, had it for two months, when driving in heavy rain the transmission slipped, had to drive under 40 mph . Please describe .
