Three problems related to suspension have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving the left front end of the vehicle dropped. The consumer entered a parking lot area at a low acceptable speed when the incident occurred. The entire front axle and suspension assembly fell. The axle disengaged from the drive unit, the entire assembly was at a 45 degree angle to normal position.
While traveling on the highway and without prior warning steering wheel will veer off left to right .
When driving at highway speed, vehicle vibrates severely.
