Was driving at 50mph, when my rt front nokian tire went flat. When I changed the tire a noticed that the green plug was missing. There was a green plug in the lf front tire, so I knew this was the problem. As of right now, I was told nokian no longer makes that type of tire with the green plug so I am going to have to get a new one.

Purchased 05 Neon in '06 w/16,000 miles. Tires were already in bad shape. Current incident occurred while accelerated on entry ramp to freeway. Once on freeway notice vehicle was accelerating on its own. Attempted to apply brakes and they would not engage. I assumed brakes had failed. Finally after a terrified exit from the freeway, I was finally able to come to a stop my eventually entering a vacant graveled, uneven lot and driving atop concrete blocks. My terrified passenger and I put in park, turned off the ignition and jumped out of the car. When aaa arrived, he said my gas pedal had stuck. The car was towed to my home. When a mechanic friend checked it out he found the air throttle control value was shot. Without that, the engine will not idle properly. I am still in the process of getting this fixed. The part had to be ordered. I am not sure if that is the only problem. There was no property damage. My front driver's side tire and rim were destroyed.

Bought 4 grand spirit touring tires size 185/60tr15 on 6/15/05. Belts on two of these tires separated. One on 7/21/08 the second on 12/19/08. Manufacturer of these tires is tbc tires. One of these tires was prorated and replaced. I was informed by tire retailer ,tire kingdom, that the tire is no longer available. Now I have a tire with belt separation and two more that will no doubt do the same.

High speed blow out affter only 3 1/2 months totaled my car on top of it.
The winter potholes in the chicago heights area caused me to have damage done to my vehicles rims, and tires. Three rims had to be replaced and 4 tires had to be replaced also. I just found out about being compensated for the damage of my vehicle.
Vehicle's tire had flat spots meaning the belt must be broken inside.
When applying brakes there is a loud howling noise, dealer determined it was the firestone tires that were makinf the noise. .
I bought this car brand new on may 31, 2001. The car came with 16 aluminum rims and the goodyear eagle low profile tires. This was used as part of the salesmen's speal to get me to buy the car. Since may, I have had 6 or more instance of flat tires, some while driving on highways, some driving on side streets and some while parked. The dealer has fixed the problem each time. The first time I had to buy a new tire and rim which cost over $500. All of the other times they found the rims bent and simply used a hammer to bang them back in shape. I have spoken to the service mgr, jim martin and he himself personally banged the rim straight on 11/15. He also told me this is a known problem with aluminum rims that are not strong enough to withstand a pothole or even a driveway. The low profile tires, which are not much bigger then bicycle tires, are not big enough to prevent the rims from bending if I hit a pothole, speed bump, etc. The worst part is I spoke to several mechanics and they told me this is a common problem. Because the rims are 16 inch, I can't replace them with steel rims because steel rims do not come in 16 inch sizes for a p195/50 tire. The only option they gave me is to go to a tire dealer and buy new tires and 15 inch steel rims or live with the problem. I fear for the safety of my wife and family and I think this should be looked at for a possible recall since it seems every dealer and mechanic in America knows this is an accident waiting to happen. Please contact me ASAP. Thank you. (dot number: 83v tiresize: p195/50r16).

Tires failed at 20,000 miles, causing damage to vehicle.
This vehicle was purchased "new" with all seasonal tires, p18560r15. This vehicle can only use snow or studded tires if owner purchases 4 more new tires with different size, p18565r15. That would be the only way that owner can have snow tires. It is not available by tire size that was purchased with vehicle. Manufacturer was contacted to see if resolution would be given, but no further assistance was given. Please describe details.
