Dodge Nitro owners have reported 2 problems related to brake master cylinder (under the service brakes category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
For the second time my master cylinder has gone out. No warning or noise at all; my breaks when pressed just go straight to the floor. I replaced it the first time and in less than 3 weeks it has already gone out again. I was driving when this happened the first time in the rain going down hill, second time on the interstate.
