Two problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was traveling 35mph, another vehicle veered into her lane and hit vehicle, knocking it across into a fire hydrant, seatbelt didn't catch. Consumer sustained injuries. Also, driver's side airbag didn't deploy. Investigator told consumer that it wasn't a hard direct hit.
During an accident air bag's did not deploy. Dealer has been contacted.
