Two problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake performance is poor. In some instances brake pedal needs to be pressed almost to the floor and stopping distances are poor.
Brake wear seems excessive and at times the pedal would go to the floor and the brakes would not work well.
