Two problems related to tailgate have been reported for the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Problem with vehicle's tailgate. The consumers tailgate had fell down and hit a child in head for no apparent reason. The consumer was concerned in quality and structure in which is made because it was not properly functioning to release on it own. Please review for further investigations.
Because of its design, tailgate when it is in the down position, it falls completely off its hinge and onto the road when vehicle goes over a pump.
