One problem related to brake pedal and linkage has been reported for the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2004 Dodge quad cab 1500 pickup. Parked truck and brake pedal swung to left caused by brake pedal hinge pin coming out of hole as a result of c clip not installed at factory to prevent hinge pin from coming lose. Great potential for death or injury if brake pedal fails during hard braking or emergency reaction to stop. Contacted Dodge to inform. Defect corrected at dealer.
