Noises During Shifting problems of the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. While the gear shifter was shifted into reverse, the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 14v796000 (power train) and 15v313000 (air bags); however, the parts needed to repair the vehicle were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was 100,000. 2 Noises During Shifting problem

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the gear lever was shifted into drive and there was an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the vehicle jerked. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v79000 (power train) however, the part needed to repair the vehicle was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 148,000.

3 Noises During Shifting problem

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14v796000 (power train) had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The dealer stated parts were not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the delay. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact noted that when shifting in to reverse he can hear a abnormal pinging noise momentary when reverse shifting. The failure mileage was 79,500. Az.
