The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While the vehicle was parked, the contact detected the fuel tank exhibited a small pinhole. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The technician informed that the fuel tank would need to be replaced at the estimated cost of $4,000. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was 49,509.
On my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab everytime I fill it with gas it overflows after automatic shutoff on the pump. This results in gas spraying everywhere. This happens each time I fill the tank to the point I no longer feel safe to fill the tank completely.
