Two problems related to driveshaft have been reported for the 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Backing down driveway and the driveshaft dropped out of truck. After checking I found that it had never been bolted to truck. Dodge dealer picked it up and reattached the driveshaft. When I picked it up the technician told me it never had bolts on it.
Driving on I-110 going 70 mph heard a loud boom barely made it off road almost wrecked. Drive shaft broke! my son was in the car with me. I bought the truck 3 months ago brand new and at 3,000 miles the muffler was not even welded to the converter!! the transmission has also slipped a couple of times!.
