Started vehicle and the following lights on the dash were lit airbag, traction control, esp bad, antilock brake, and the wipers wouldn't work, also the power outlet that only run when the key is turned, I drove the vehicle and all fore mentioned items went back to normal. This has happened on several occasions and the length of time they are lit/ not functioning varies from a couple of. Minute to a couple of weeks.
Truck will idle at 100 rpms and every once in awhile it will stall out as I am rolling up to a stop light. The truck will cut off without warning. The truck will start back up with no issues after this happens but this seems that it could be a serious issue especially if you have no control when it stalls out at low rpms.

The vehicle was, in motion, on city streets or and highways, accelerating, turning, braking, etc. , the fault or problem that created the unsafe condition to be fuel/propulsion system-includes systems that manage energy to power the vehicle such as fuel tanks, pumps, injectors, filters, pipes/lines and hoses for gasoline and diesel vehicles, and for electric, hybrid, hydrogen, lpn/natural gas or other alternative power vehicles including high voltage batteries and energy storage devices, controls, safety disconnects, pressure relief valves, and other safety related devices that may present a safety hazard the component parts or system that I believe may be the cause of the safety risk. After my best assessment of the incident and cause in my description. The vehicle was taken to two known mechanics for an estimate, and an auto service for a computerised diagnosis. I have other information - repair invoices, diagnosis reports, police accident reports, insurance claim forms, etc. - I can not scan them electronically and upload them along with my complaint at this time. The wheels were not properly assessed or replaced according to standards later causing our accident and injuries. This complaint is also about the recalls. The recalls are air bags: passenger side frontal issued March 27, 2017 recall id 275880, air bags: frontal: driver side inflator module issued June 8, 2015 recall id 275947, and electrical system: ignition: switch issued March 27, 2015 recall id 242136.
Stationary and motion low oil pressure dtc constantly coming active, possibly a ecu faulty or bad software loaded into it. . Steering constantly wanting to sway back and forth when in motion makes truck bounce back and forth from lane lines, had bearings, hub, struts, lower control arms, and rack and pinion replaced still no better if not worse, found that others are having this issue also believe that steering gear box that was installed when truck came from manufacturer is faulty and this is definitely a safety concern.
The abs module needs to be replaced to enable the abs to work as well as turn off the abs/brake light lights. Other than no one will want to pass it due to the lights. The part was discontinued which one must believe was a mistake as this is a critical part.
I have tried on many times too arrigo Dodge in west palm beach ,florida too complete the safety recall . They have refused too address the issues with this truck . I have complained to the Dodge motor division more times than a few ,they turn a blind-eye to the dealership . This truck was a lemon from the show-room floor ,I have replaced the computer , emissions system ,fuel injection system , wiring harness , and many more repairs . The brake system is very dangerous ,someone is going too get a serious injury from this issue. The truck also suffers from sudden acceleration , at any given time . I have called the Chrysler rep countless times , and they have a care less attitude ,I voiced my opinion on the chat line ,and. . . They were quite amused at the possibility of a crash or injury . I want a complete investigation of the dealership ,the factory , and bring in the department of justice on these criminal activities ! please do something soon , this is a matter of life and death !.

Our seat belts locked up on our 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. Took our Dodge truck to Dodge dealership 06/05/2017 who said our seat belt control module had gone out. We paid $400 to replace. Pickup on 06/26/2017. 3 days later 06/29/2017 while towing our 20 ft north river boat across charleston harbor bridge on the down hill side to port launch ramp our vehicle power shut down, seat belts locked up again and our boat weight pushed hitch into our truck destroying the hitch and wheel jack. The boat had to be towed ( $399) to be repaired and $150. In hitch repairs. The truck itself would not start until the battery negative wire was removed. Vehicle was driven directly to dealership about 5 miles away. A local police officer was following behind our vehicle and stopped to help; calling a tow truck. No report was filed or required. After a 2 wk delay they could not find a replacement module saying they were discontinued. Admitted they had installed a module ( not a seat belt module supposedly by mechanics error) requested our money back which they did 07/14/2017. We have been searching unsuccessfully online and other sources which say they are discontinued, not available. Our state and city law carries a $250 dollar fine for no seat belt use more importantly we our now subject to extreme possibility of death or maiming in an accident. According to some information this also affects our air bags which may cause failure of them. We have been told our insurance is null and void if we don't have seat belts and even if we could get a mechanic to do a work around ( which they refused due to the liability issues) insurance still void. In case of our death or injury there will be a lawsuit against Dodge. It won't do us much good! this is not acceptable. Dodge should be forced to provide a law required seat belt module repair. How many people will die before they fix the problem?.

Strange vibration in suspension system when reaching speeds between 50 - 70 mph. I am experiencing rough riding as I excellerate to the above speeds on the highway.
I'm trying to get information about the buy back program.
My extremely low-mileage ram is experiencing electrical and sensor issues of a truck tens of thousands of miles higher. The key fob will not lock or unlock the doors but the lights will flash. The esp/bas light remains on along with the slipping light plus the airbag light. They all remain on. The driver side door panel will not lock or unlock the doors. The panel will not open or close the 2 rear windows, but, the 2 front windows will open and close. All lights remain on while in motion or parked. I did notice the column shifter was extremely loose and was not as tight as normal. Vehicle has just over 65,000 miles on it. And is 8 years old possibly related issues are that the truck was recently taken in for wheel sensor replacements and low idle causing stalling.
My truck has quit functioning 3 different times (days). All dash lights come on and there is no communication between the accelerator pedal and engine. Most times it is still running but I cannot make the vehicle move. The last time the engine died completely and I could not restart the vehicle. I have had it towed 3 times to the dealership, they have made repairs based on what they thought was wrong, only to have it stop exactly the same 4 or 5 days later. The first repair was condenser, oil pressure regulator and battery cable, the second repair was the brain. This third time they have had the truck for 3 days and yesterday they called and said they do not know what is wrong, it doesn't give them codes when on computer. I do not feel confident nor safe to drive a truck that just stops when I'm driving. I have found other complaints on a website carcomplaints. Com and have found 10 other complaints with very similar vehicle problem. I am leaving work each time this happens and am thankful I am not travelling home during rush hour; I'd likely cause an accident. It has been very expensive almost $2000. And still no truck. First occurrence about 10nov, 2nd occurrence about 16nov, 3rd was 5dec.
The dealer says its a bad tipm, and that they go bad on ram trucks often. All the electrical system goes crazy, traction control, air bags, abs, blower for heat and air, wipers, door locks, windows and others. If they know this is faulty why not should they have to recall or pay us back.
Vibration and bouncing- wobble feeling with loose steering at speeds 55-70, from front wheels through steering wheel. Tires have been re-balanced several times as the possible cause but truck continues to have vibrations in front wheels at speeds 55 or higher. Continual brake noise, rattling sounds at all speeds after brakes have been applied 2-3 times under normal traffic conditions.
Dropped truck off for detailing. Truck was off. When employee tried to start truck battery was dead. After jumping battery, it started but once driven 50 feet to park, the truck key could be turned off, key removed, but truck still running. Could not get it to turn off. Electric windows closed themselves, air conditioning would not operate. Dash board lights came on. Manual brake was set and could be released, but light never went out. Truck was about 90 degrees in hawaii heat, so couldn't drive it to Dodge dealer with no air and windows inoperable. Scary. Had it hauled to dealer on truck while it was running. Dealer said battery drained and tipm needs replacement, and then further investigation. Est. $3,000 already for repairs. In month leading up to this, vehicle had vibration. Dealers replaced fuel injector, rear end differential, brake pads and rotors and calipers, all which had passed an inspection just a couple months earlier. Cost estimate on these combined $3,000 also. Saw recall 05v461000 online for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 transfer case. Could this be related? I had similar thing happen with my Dodge nitro which was on recall.
The ignition is not engaging sometimes it shut off when cranking and come back on later.
Vehicle cuts off while driving can on highway or while turning, many others has same complaint online. Very dangerous no vehicle on the highway should have this problem.

The engine stall which appears you have investigated is concerning for me. Multiple times I have been make a r turn and had the engine "die" in deceleration through the turn resulting in the truck losing power steering and electrical components of the truck. The recent incident almost resulted in me striking a motorcycle waiting in the l hand turn lane for the traffic signal. The engine has stalled in several other turn situations causing me to be restarting at stand still in traffic. I feel this has proven to be a safety concern and not just a inconvenience.
Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving and making a lift turn the directional signal failed to illuminate and the rear left brake light failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the totally integrated power module failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,937. Aw.
While driving back home from work the car lost all power, tried turning starter multiple times and nothing starts but lights on dash board turn on. I have jump start and nothing. Disconnected batteries for 5 mins and nothing. No smoke. No leaks. No burn or fumes smell. No cracking noise when turning key over. Check gauges light , e brake light. And abs light turn on and remain on when cracking.
There is an issue with my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 abs sensor, specifically the front passages side sensor. When reaching certain speeds, the abs break attempts to engage, it also engages when pressing the break slightly. This cause one to correct the amount of pressure applied to the break, and also I have to correct the steering to counter the increase in breaking. When it is time to actually break for an emergency, the truck will not break properly and cause and accident or my life.
The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the electronic stability program and the brake assist system warning lights illuminated. While vehicle was in motion on the highway. The vehicle just shut off. I had to pull over with out any power to the side of the road and restart vehicle . This not only happened once but 2 time with in same month but different days. I called manufacture and was told to just make sure I keep up with oil changes . Now there is a major recall on certain trucks but main is not included but it should be and I want the matter looked after please.
It got cold on this morning went out to start truck. Started fine like always drove my wife to work soon as I put truck in reverse my abs light traction control and emergency brake lights all flashed on at once. Took into get brakes checked they said they were fine. Also have four exhaust manifold bolts broke flush off on the block kinda been reading a lot of people have too is this going to be a recall.

Defroster stop blowing on windshield, however, it would blow out other vents, tech found that the mode 2 actuator had an internal open circuit, dealer removed and replaced the mode 2 actuator. I submitted documentation for reimbursement since this is a known problem. Csc-100034072-3580 csn-k17. My claim was denied , I was told my vehicle did not have a recall.

I was driving in snow and slippery conditions and as I started to accelerate I could feel that the snow was having an effect on my trucks traction and with that the traction control light illuminated on my dashboard to inform me that one of my drive wheels must be loosing traction. After moving along at highway speeds on dry salt treated pavement the abs, brake, esp,and bas, light all came on and have not gone off since. I am not sure what effect this will have on my braking ability if traction becomes an issue or if heavy braking is involved.
Went to check my tire pressures and took valve stem cover off and it snapped the top of the valve stem off even with the top of the valve stem. . . . 2 other valve stem covers are also seized on the valve stems on the truck. . Called dealer and they informed me that Dodge knows about this problem and they have replaced hundreds of them and the only way to replace them is to put another sensor in for 75 bucks cause they can not put regular valve stems in vehicles that have tpms sensors in them. . . They have not heard of any recalls to date nor could I find any online. . . This is a obvious problem with many Dodge vehicles with this metal valve stem and needs to be corrected.
