Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While waiting at a stop light, I had the clutch pedal depressed and the truck in first gear. The truck suddenly started to drive off as if I had released the clutch. I had to struggle to shut off the engine and regain control of the vehicle. Nlm.
While sittiing in park position and running, vehicle took off and hit a car. Then ran into a pile of snow. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
