Two problems related to electrical system have been reported for the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving the abs light,check engine light comes on along with the speedometer and tack quit working, by tapping the brake pedal the lights go off and everything starts working again.
While driving at any speed and with no warning vehicle will start to accelerate. It will be hard for vehicle to decelerate. Dealer notified. Consumer stated that the vehicle does not come with a throttle linkage, but it comes with a computer and sensor switches which operate the throttle. When the sensor switches failed the engine failed too.
