38 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2010

Driving down the interstate/highway at speeds greater than 60 miles an hour, more of an issue when the cruise control is on and there is continuing acceleration. The truck began to rock back and fourth uncontrollably similar to other complaints on the website in which they refer to it as the "death wobble". I even had one instance about 2 months ago when the truck rear tires were lifted off the ground and went back in fourth between two lanes, a gentlemen was forced into the ditch, I approached the gentleman and he commented on the truck and the make and the fact he had heard that it was the Dodge death wobble. I have contacted Dodge numerous times about the incidents, the latest and greatest from the dealership I contacted blamed it on the state road conditions and there inability to maintain the roads my response to him was then why didn't everyone else's vehicle do that? no response, I even offered to take them on a ride but no one seemed to enthused about that. After investigating the comments on forums and everything eventually lead me here. I have had similar issues in over 20 occurrences I want to sale the vehicle but how do you from an ethical standpoint knowing the person buying the vehicle could possibly be in a box shortly there after. I'm curious to know how many people have died from this?.

39 Suspension problem

40 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2009

My 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 megacab is experiencing a very violent shaking in front suspension . Had a recall and dealer said it did not apply to my vehicle . Have tried alignments , new tires, new steering stabilizer dampers , even a frame brace that goes from one frame rail to the other to help stiffen front end . Every time you hit a bump it loses control and you have to come to a complete stop so it can stop shaking so violently . If you search the internet you will find hundreds more if not thousands are having the same problem as well . There are even forums on this issue . I know that there is an ongoing investigation on this issue but it covers 2008's and above . Older models are experiencing this issue as well . The public is in danger over this issue . Dodge should be made liable and held accountable . They need to fix this issue before innocent people get hurt.

41 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/23/2009

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab laramie with diesel - vehicle begins to shake/wobble at around 40mph and gets progressively worse. When I hit a small bump - vehicle violently shakes out of control - loss of steering occurs - and have virtually no control until I bring speed down under 20-30mph. This is an extremely dangerous condition. Have had 2 dealerships inspect and find nothing wrong. Had a good truck shop in town inspect - no idea what's causing this issue. I do not have $5k+ to give Dodge to put on a full 2009 model years suspension. They have done multiple recalls, none of which fix this issue. I just want my truck to drive normally without fearing going over 45mph.
