One problem related to ball joint has been reported for the 2011 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While in reverse and turning left, the left tie rod end snapped at the ball joint. It appears to be a geometry problem, not all about a faulty part. Chrysler stated the part had already been replaced during recall l16, but it has not fixed the problem. Customer service stated they will only replace the part once under the recall.
