The dash has developed a crack from the passenger side defroster duct to the top of the glove compartment. This seems to be happening to a lot of Dodge ram trucks.
Dash board has cracked, holes, splitting. Worried that airbag could deploy noticed problem about 7 years ago -- brought to dealers attention - but told it was cosmetic -- would not do anything about. It would cost me $1500+ to replace.
Dash board cracked for no apparent reason or abuse. Truck was taken to Dodge dealer under extended warranty and was told that it was not covered and that I must have done something to cause the dash to crack and break. At this point Dodge has done nothing to remedy the issue.
Consumer states that recieved a recall letter, manufactures recall number #978, took to dealer and parts were not available. Please provide any further information. Ts.
