general problems of the 2003 Dodge Ram 3500

Three problems related to tire have been reported for the 2003 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2014

Delta national tires . I'm a small tire dealer I have installed numerous 235/85 r16 e tires and 245 and 225 in 16" everyone of them has failed ,some with as few as 500 miles on them all have had separated or blew out. I have removed everyone out of service and disposed of them . This has happened all in 2014-15 I will not let my customers drive on (essentials, sentennial ) tires pleas look in to this I no longer have any of the tire to give the dot # but all had 2014-15 build dates.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 10/12/2006

: the contact stated the vehicle was parked when the side walls of the two front tires were noticeably splitting. The tires were taken to a local tire dealer, who determined that the tires needed to be replaced and offered to prorate the tires under warranty. The tires were not replaced. The contact encountered a NHTSA recall # 02x001000 regarding the tires: tread/belt.

3 Tire problem

Failure Date: 05/30/2003

The tires are wearing out at an unusually fast rate. Vehicle only has 4000 miles on the odometer, and the problem started when vehicle had only 500 miles. The consumer is a house builder, and does not do anything unusual with the vehicle.
