One problem related to front suspension control arm has been reported for the 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated that with no warning, the left front tire fractured while traveling approximately 40 mph. The steering wheel was wobbling excessively and the vehicle was unstable when the failure occured. The vehicle was not able to be driven and was towed to a repair shop who diagnosed that the control arms and the left tie rod fractured. The mechanic indicated that both tie rods needed to be replaced. The contact was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 13v528000 (steering), 11v350000 (steering), 10e013000 (steering), 07e009000 (suspension). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no remedy. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.
