Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch Problems of Dodge Ram Van

Interlock shift is not designed properly and that consumer's 15 month old child was able to put vehicle into gear without stepping on gas pedal. Contacted dealer, and the dealer was not willing to do anything.

Consumer states that in owners manual vehicle is equipped with a shift interlock system which would prevent vehicle from being removed from park without applying brakes. Consumer received notification that vehicle, in fact, is not equipped with this safety feature. Please provide any additional information/attachments.

Vehicle was placed in drive gear by a 2-year old child by swinging the back of his hand past the shifter. Vehicle began to roll forwards. Dealer was contacted and showed no concern.
