One problem related to brake grinding noise has been reported for the 2004 Dodge Sprinter. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Since purchasing the vehicle there has been a continuous grinding and vibration with the brakes, which has imperfectly the vehicle's performance. Consumer took vehicle to dealer for service, and the brake pads were replaced twice. However, problem recurred. Replaced 4 rotors in April 2005 and problem still there. When driving slow and applying the brakes there was a loud grinding noise coming from brakes. While driving on the highway and braking vibrations were felt followed by grinding of brakes.
